"Alright Moon, lemme give you my number just in case you need to- wait, you have a cell, right?"
I pause.
"Oh shit."
I rush over to my bag, as I remember my phone for the first time since coming here. I scavenge for my cellular device underneath the uniforms and tools. I reach into one of the small pockets on the side.
My gripper is pricked by something sharp.
I pull the device out and see a screen smashed into tiny pieces. The back has been disconnected, causing wires to fall out of place and poke out from the sides.
I hold it up daintily with my thumb and middle gripper and walk back out to the living room.
"Ummm..." I awkwardly smile, embarrassed about what happened to my device.
"Damn! Was the landing that rough? You know what, it doesn't matter. I doubt that thing would even work on this planet," Fuse disappears into her room. I hear drawers opening and closing.
"Just keep this from now on," Fuse offers me as she walks out holding up a cell and charger.
