While The World Sleeps

The moment the knight's head hit his pillow, he knew he was going to ruin his sleeping habits for the foreseeable future.

It was mid-afternoon when Henry went to sleep and sunlight filtered into his room, causing him to turn around and face the wall to pretend that it was dark outside. However, it didn't seem to matter because the embrace of sleep took him quickly, and when he woke up he was disoriented and it was dark outside.

Seeing that the sun was down, and the fire in the fireplace had long since burnt out, he knew that the cold temperature was truly what woke him up. After sitting at the edge of his bed, allowing time to pass immeasurably, he finally decided to be productive. He had slept so hard, he didn't think he was going to be able to sleep again any time soon.

His first order was to start back up the fire so he would have warmth waiting for him upon his return then he washed his face and changed his shirt.
