I was scared to death at the thought of what's going to be the future of my only child.

There are innumerable threats that are scaring me like hell.

Staring with the speed at which she is growing, doing things impossible for kids of her age to do. She was already magical and now she can perform the magic on her own without any help !

Kevin said that, the hunters might ask for help to keep the vampires in check. Won't they hurt her for not helping them?

What is in it to be happy discovering that, she is witch ?

Everyone in the house is cursing me for not being the supportive mother ! But have anyone thought this through ? What she could face because of her powers ?

Kevin says he is an immortal and nobody knows how to kill him and so, he can save her !

But will he be with her all the time? Every place in the entire world ? Won't she grow up and have her own life ? Will she let anyone into her life and tell her problems to us ?

She is so considerate even now when, she doesn't even know how to eat her own food, won't she grow up like just like this ?

And if, the opposite happens?

What if, she grew up knowing she have the power and grow proud and careless? What if, she misuses her powers ? What if, they call her the pure form of nature; but she uses it to destroy the nature itself ?

I wouldn't have been overthinking this much if, she had got the power after she was a grown up and knew what power is and what are it's merits and demerits ?

How to use them ? How to control the emotions and urges to use it !

Nobody is thinking about the future and cursing me for I am thinking. What is wrong with everyone ?

Yes, I am happy that my child is having supernatural powers but the problem is they have been introduced her in a very early age !

She is using her magical power in the age of learning to talk ! She can't even speak a single word but can create a tornado with her tiny bare hands !

Why isn't it troublesome to fucking anyone else than me ?

I couldn't think of anything, the thoughts were so overwhelming. Ethan hugged me and it calmed me a bit down.

His embrace always makes me feel comfortable and safe. I feel nothing wrong can ever happen to as long as I am in his embrace.

And he too knows that him hugging me calms me down and so, he always huggs me first whenever see me panicking over anything in the world.

I was worried about Eve's future and mother decided to kill me shocking truth. I

" Do you really think she can be a witch just because she is alone MY descendent ? That's not possible considering her father is frozen for ages now. "

Mother said.

" What do you mean mother? I didn't get it ? "

I said wiping her tears.

" My child, your mother was the most powerful witch after me too ! "

Mother said.

I gasped in surprise.

I know whatever she just said is unbelievable and shocking. But I know she never lies. And what would she gain by lying to me about this ?

Though, she won't lie to me but how could I believe whatever she just said ? I have been staying with my mother since my birth till she dies few years ago. I haven't noticed any suspicious actions from her.

She was a common human who loved her family and worked hard for their betterment. She loved me so much and so did she loved my Dad ! She did everything to make me happy and smile.

The woman who couldn't even open a tight container, carry a light weighted ladder, how could mother expects me to believe that, she was the second most powerful witch of all the time ?

I can't believe it. She was just like me. She used to scream at even the minute pain at which I am sure even Eve won't pay attention that she is hurt ! How could be such a scaredy cat like be the most powerful witch ?

No, it isn't true. It can't be true !

" Mother... I do respect you and want to believe you but what you are saying is something... unbelievable ! "

" I am sure my child it sounds stupid and made up to you. But believe me my child, your mother was a witch !

And not just any witch, she was the one powerful after me; from my own coven. And SHE was the one who put me in that coffin ! "

Mother said and my knees went numb and I buckled but Ethan caught me before I fell.

" No mother. Your words are sounding more fake as you are telling further ! "

I said shaking in his arms.

What the hell is she talking about ? How could my mom be the one who put her in the coffin ? Mother is a few thousand years old and my mom was mare 50 years old. Mother is definitely lying.

" How can I believe your words mother ? You are a few thousand years old and my mom was... "

" She was 10 years older than me, my child ! "

Mother said without letting me finish.

What ? 10 years older than her ? How could this be ? No, this is impossible. She grew old in front of my eyes ! I have seen her from her mid 20s and she grew older with time not in a single day !

I was about to ask mother few more questions but she didn't let me.

" My dear, it's a very long story. I will suggest you to have a seat and some water. "

Ethan made me sit on the couch and he sat beside me. I didn't let go of his arm. I know it makes Kevin jealous but I need comfort right now. To hell with his jealousy !

Mother got me water with her magic. I gulped it down and mother refilled the glass for me again.

" I will tell you everything from the start to make it easy for you to understand.

I am not the first ever witch to exist on the planet. But yes, I am the only one who is born with the magic; now there's two of us !

So, my father had two elder siblings. The eldest sister had a daughter and two sons. The middle brother had a daughter and a son. And my father had only one daughter; that's me. The daughter my aunt had was your mother, Bella. My cousin ! "

Mother said making it clear watching my expressions.

" Bella's maternal grandmother and my maternal great-grandmother were witches. My aunt wasn't a witch but her daughter was !

Neither my grandmother nor my mother were witches but I was !

I was a born witch. Though Bella wasn't a born witch she had magic in her. When I was born I started performing magic tricks without my granny's help just like Evelyn did today.

Everyone was happy finally have a witch in their house. Magic attracts magic and that's how I discovered Bella has magic with her. And after requesting a thousand times to my granny, I convince her to teach me how to train a witch.

I taught Bella everything. She was a very good learner and I was happy to help my cousin. Our family was very happy too. After knowing I had trained Bella, many of the potential witches came to me to learn magic. And that's how we formed our coven. "

Well, I don't have any idea about my mother's family. She had told me that, they all died in an accident and so I didn't asked her again about her family.

" And the after story you know. I got married, had an affair, had Kevin, and then had Ethan. My husband was torching Kevin and so I wanted power for him and safety after me. And so, I decided to turn him into an immortal.

My husband didn't liked me performing magic and he didn't liked Bella either. He used to curse her and so, I asked her not to come to meet me at my home. I didn't liked him insulting her but I couldn't do anything !

So, we decided to meet some place other than my house. It was either her home our father's home where we used to meet. And so, Kevin and Ethan have never seen Bella in their entire life !

So, I told Bella about my plan and she was ok with it. She even helped me find the spell to turn an mortal into an immortal.

I casted that spell on Kevin and Ethan and turned them into immortals. When we found the spell in my great-grandmother's magic book, few pages were torn and misplaced.

And we were almost robbing at the book because she never had let anyone have that book in her absence. I guess, I discovered why did she do that a quiet later.

In the haste of not getting caught, we didn't paid any attention towards the next lost page after the spell's page. Now I regret it. I should have searched for it and then should have casted the spell ! "
