Javier went silent. 

It would be nice to get Soren back. The palace was suffocating him, it was harder to breathe with every corner reminding him of what used to be. He considered what it would be like to be in a place that didn't threaten to choke him. 

"Alright," he gave his word. 

Adnan dropped his hand from Javier's chest. Feeling suffocated in his arms upon listening to his conversation with the Queen mother. 

Catalina's sharp eyes picked up on the slight shift of the weight in the sheets. Her eyes lit up as she found the owner of the other pieces of clothing she failed to identify. 

It was pleasing to learn that even with Soren in the palace, Javier was capable of taking another to his bed. The only question that puzzled her mind was who was he laid with.
