The royal family gathered in front of the palace. Dressed and ready to embark on the trip to Zarlos. Despite the last-minute notice, they looked exemplary.

The queen mother took charge of arranging people in the carriages. The royal carriages lined up in front of the palace as far as the eyes could see. It was a large entourage.

King Javier leaned against a pillar and waited. Archidius, Soren, and Adnan we're yet to make an appearance. He couldn't pinpoint which one of the three he was waiting for the most.

He needed Archidius to help him with Soren, and Adnan so he could offer the male an apology and Soren to give life to his soul.

"How many more will join on the trip?" Catalina asked. Inquiring indirectly if Soren, his family, and Ssisa will join them on the trip.

The trip was a perfect opportunity for her to learn where the king's heart was and use it to her advantage.
