Adnan is a slave.

Javier wandered around the palace from morning till noon looking for Adnan. The boy had mysteriously vanished after leaving the kitchen with Archidius.

He figured they might have gotten lost in the palace since his strange encounter with the boy a few hours before. It was weird, Adnan appeared out of nowhere and the two of them shared a moment that made no sense.

On top of that, Brandis kept pressing him to apologize to Adnan. He found himself stuck in a dilemma. Where his heart longed for someone that wasn't his to have.

He burnt with jealousy over what to do concerning Adnan.

"Did you find him?" he asked Amoela. She shook her head to give a response. Either Adnan and Archidius had left the palace or they disappeared into thin air.

The unlikely hood of them disappearing into thin air wasn't far-fetched. The two men had hidden abilities that Amoela failed to comprehend.

"They aren't in this realm," Soren spoke up from the corner.
