"Didn't you think to consult me before making so many important decisions?" Javier made a claim to Soren.

It was unreasonable to marry his queen off. Highly disrespectful to her as a person and belittling as she wasn't given much of an option.

The queen was a person who deserved to be offered the courtesy of how she exited the palace. She was in a better position to make choices that best affect the rest of her life. Javier refused to let her go through another loveless marriage.

"I have never consulted with decisions in the past. Why should I start now?" Soren asked. He saw no need to inform Javier of all the decisions he was making for them.

Only he knew what was best for Javier and Tamira had overstayed her welcome when she overstepped her boundaries and dreamt of having the king.
