Chapter 5 Visit

Looking over all the notes and books sent by Doctor Tyler, Aria can't believe the wealth of knowledge, technique and detail given freely to her. Dr Tyler is a genius!

Engrossed in her current book on the different kinds of tools and technique used for heart surgery in either an adult or as young as a couple days old, Aria didn't hear Seth come in.

Seth watching Aria read, waiting for a bit before saying something but as he watched her it felt like he was stuck looking and observing his favorite video game. Aria was sitting up in bed with a table across her lap with a book and laptop in front of her. She was typing away with one hand so fast that it seemed like a blur. What was she doing? Although her face was covered like a mummy, she eyes were so focused and she occasionally had this look like she was getting a present at Christmas.

"Aria! Hi! It's me Seth! I came in to visit. Do you have time for a visit or are you busy? "

Aria looked up and smiled glanced at Seth. "Hey cutie! I always have time for you! Thanks for the visit! Wow… what's all that stuff you got there? "

"Hahaha… uhh it's just a little or a couple things I brought to do together. Do you want to? " blushing and Turing side to side Seth was a little shy. He was so adorable that Aria just wanted to get up and hug and kiss him… but she couldn't. Not yet. Geez… where did all these feelings for Seth come from? It felt like she always knew him.

"Jump up and show me what you got!" Doing that Seth brought a puzzle with over a 100 pieces, the game trouble, and monopoly. The rest of the stuff he left on the floor.

"Aria what do you want to do first? The puzzle is new and 3D … could take a bit of time. The 2 games are my favorite! I warn you… I will beat you!! Chess is also good but I'm ok at it! I also brought some snacks and drinks… so tell me where to start "

"Let's start with the puzzle! I bet we can have it done soon. I must say I feel like I'm good at this. The games you have to teach me. Hand me a snack and a drink for both of us and let's get started!! Thanks Seth! I do really appreciate your visit!"

Seth set up the table, after Aria put away her stuff. And was excited to start!

Time flew by super fast! The 3D puzzle took about 2 hours and 3 snacks and 3 drinks! It turned out better than he thought! " Aria I'll put this here and it's yours! Every time you look at it it will remind you of us! Now with the game of Trouble you play like this…"

"Seth do you want something to eat? It's getting past lunch time?" Just as she asked an elderly jolly woman walked in the room. "Nanny Mary, what did you bring for lunch?"

Mary looked at the young girl and first felt bad when she saw her wrapped up face. Looking in her eyes she felt a warmth that calmed her soul for the fear of someone taking advantage of Seth.

"I brought some sandwiches, salad and cookies and milk. Sounds good?"

"Yes! Thanks Nanny! Are they choco chip cookies?"

"But of course! Miss I'm Mary, Seth's Nanny. I hope he hasn't bothered you?"

"No not at all! I am super grateful for the visit and also you bringing lunch! Haven't had a home cooked meal in a bit. I really appreciate it and please call me Aria."

" no the pleasure is all mine Aria! Please let me help you after getting Seth ready for lunch. Hey Seth, go wash your hands and come back. I'll have the plate ready next to Aria. Good?"

"Yay! I'll be right back Nanny!"

Both Aria and Nanny Mary laughed at Seth.

After having lunch, Seth fell asleep next to Aria on the bed. " are you sure he can sleep there? There is a sofa over here."

"No it's ok. I like having him next to me. He is such a cutie. "

Nanny Mary cleans up and says goodbye.

While Seth sleeps Aria also falls asleep. Jake curious to see what they are doing, stops by. It's super quiet in the room when he walks in. Looking around he sees the 3D puzzle by the window and then looks at the bed. Aria is asleep with Seth snuggled up on her good side this time. He is holding onto her shirt with his leg over her belly. Seeing this Jake takes a quick pix and then walks over quietly to put the blanket on them. Feeling the warmth, Seth burrows his face next to Aria neck.

When was the last time Jake saw this? Seth has been closed off since his mom died 2 years ago at the age of 3. He has been close only to a very select few… like himself, Nanny and Micky. Now it seems like he brought in Aria in their little group.

Sitting on the sofa looking at them, Jake accidentally falls asleep too!
