‘You awake there giant fluff ball?’ Zalena questioned her wolf, who had merely grumbled in response to her poking and prodding. A quiet giggle escaped her as she glanced out the bus window, her body shifting as the bus had hit a pothole in the middle of the road. A growl resounded in her mind at the unnecessary movements.
‘Can’t help it, the bus hit a pothole.’ She sighed softly as her wolf only grumbled further, now more awake thanks to her bothering her.
‘If you wouldn’t have suggested somewhere practically in the middle of nowhere, no matter how pretty it is, then we wouldn’t be facing this problem.’ Her wolf yawned in response to the statement. It was true, the poking and bothering of her wolf even as her wolf had tried to close herself off from her was just a distraction to get away from the true reality of everything.
