48 – The Gaps

Ayre lifted her giant hand, swung it, and then fell. Her tiny body was unable to support the movement.

I just stared at the shapeshifter who was on her stomach.

"Sorry." She raised her head, speaking with her signature blank expression.

And Szur stifled another laugh.

I've already paused the gameplay, then searched the internet for how to awaken an undead. The only way I found was to slap them.

And no one dares to fight the demon chariot with a level two character like me. Looks like I'm also an idiot.

A Mare like Szur had a method of waking someone up using nightmares. Unfortunately, the brains of the undead are basically dead, too. So that method can't be used.

"Sorry, Emily." I have no other choice. My ears could hear the monster starting to walk, and escape was impossible.

So, I slapped the supreme undead with all my might. However, even though the slap made a loud sound, she didn't wake up. I had to do it several times, but the result was still the same.
