STORY TELLING 1

I followed Pennyworth as he led me out of the kings chambers and over to the next wing of the castle which wasn't so far from where he was.

The old man said nothing to me as we walked through the quiet corridor. He held a lantern in his hands which brightened the dark corridor.

A few maids walked by bowing when they approached us. Their steps were quick and they whispered words to themselves before disappearing from the corridor.

"This is your room my lady." Pennyworth said standing before a large black door.

He brought out a key from the many other keys tied to a stringe around his waist as he opened the door wide enough for me to see the inside of the room.

The room was lit, and the furnitures were neatly arranged at a corner. There was not much to be found in the room except a bed, and a desk for eating. It isn't as beautiful as my room back at home, but anything was acceptable.

It's not like I'll be staying for long anyways.
