A WELCOMING FEAST 3

My eyes moved through every inch of the hall, there was not a single soul I was familiar with. I was yet to find Leviathan or any of his men around the hall.

I walked to one of the seats placed around several round tables, all gold, to seat.

"He must be the one you have chosen. That demon." A feminine voice came from behind me and I turned around to where the voice came from.

She looked like a goddess with red curly hair and bright green eyes. She sat, the skirt of her lilac-hued gown falling like liquid around her legs. She looks nothing less than a human, and a normal one.

"Who are you?"

"You look so much like that stupid man Gerald." My eyes widened at her words.

"You know my father?" I stared down at her suspiciously. Perhaps, could she be one of Asmodeus's people sent to take me away like before?

A brush of ice slithered across my nape as I watched her every move. She just stared at me without another word for a split second before clearing her throat to speak.
