He remembered well the circumstances behind the curse.

"I asked not to be bothered," he said. Whoever was knocking heard him clearly because of how loud and sarcastic his voice was.

"I'm Sorry, My King. Please tell me you're hungry since that was my only question." Spenser recognized the voice as the butler's. Prepared for consumption.

"If he can't eat, how can he survive?"

He told the butler, "Leave my door," and the servant exited.

The women would constantly have to check with King Spenser to see whether he was hungry before giving him his food. Concerningly, he had lost his hunger. He lay there on the bed, head in his hands, for quite some time.

The woman in the woods, he remembered. One who had seen him when he was in his wolf form. It's hard to put a name on her. And? Obviously, he had caught her smell and would be coming for her the next day.
