"It all began when the Angelic Race came into existence. When they did, they were just like anyone else. They wanted a place to call home.
Since they were a race that flew. They wanted the skies to be their home. Once the Apex Flyer learned of this. He went to meet them.
Since the skies were his territory. The Apex Flyer wanted them to be able to fly around, but they needed a true place to call home.
The Angelic Race and the Apex Flyer met in the skies. The Angelic Race was on edge because they still had no place to call home.
"I am the Apex Flyer, I own the Sky in this Realm. I understand you need a place to call home. This is true?" The Apex Flyer asked.
The Angelic Race nodded in agreement.
"I will take you to a few neutral places that we the Apex creatures use as talking grounds." The Apex Flyer replied.
The first place took near a mountain range. It was truly at a good sight. Rivers came from the mountainsides, there was a good abundance of herbs and crops growing around, and finally, there were many caves for the Angelic Race to live in.
There was a singular person in the Angelic Race who thought something was wrong here. That person came forth.
"Why is the catch with this place?" The person asked.
"The biggest thing about this place is that none of us Apex creatures want this land to be damaged. So if you agree to live here, you also have to protect this place with all of your might." The Apex Flyer replied.
"That is a big weight on our shoulders." The person replied.
"It is. I suggest that we look at the other places before we finalize our decision." Another person came up.
"Very well. Follow me." The Apex Flyer said.
The next place they went to was one that nothing was there. Even bugs did not dared to step foot unto that plane of existence.
"This place here was where the Apex Carnivore and the Apex Elemental fought. It ended in a draw, but the land below them was the true one that got defeated." The Apex Flyer told them.
"Why has this place become a neutral ground?" Another person asked.
"Only those who are blessed by the Apex creatures can live here. Truly, I want this place to be full of life again. I cannot make it happen." The Apex Flyer replied.
The Angelic Race looked at each other. They would have to work extremely hard for everything here. Was the price worth the effort?
"This there another place we can see?" Another person asked.
"There is only one more spot that is completely neutral. The other places are neutral between Apex creatures themselves. I would have to get permission to visit the other places before anything." The Apex Flyer replied.
"Can we split up?" Another person asked.
"How so?" The Apex Flyer asked.
"Those of us who are stronger in fighting terms could guard the land that we first visited. Those of us who want to build something anew could live here. The rest of us could go with you." The person replied.
"That would be an interesting thought. I could allow it for a short period of time. The other Apex creatures will also visit from time to time. Seeing the same race in three different locations would be extremely nerve-racking for some of them." The Apex Flyer replied.
The Angelic Race who thought they had a good chance of that became gloomy.
"I could talk to them to see if splitting up here and at the mountain range would be alright for now. Seeing that a new race has come along willing to protect and build at these places." The Angelic Race became extremely happy with these words.
They began to slowly settle down and watch everything go forth. The area that was in complete ruin began to slowly accept life after six millennium.
The Apex creatures were quite proud that the Apex Flyer had done a good deed here. They slowly advanced to the next area where they lived.
The Apex creatures were glad that the area that adorned was even more beautiful than the last time they came.
"What could we even give them for all the hard work they have done?" The Apex Herbivore asked the group.
"This was all part of the deal." The Apex Carnivore replied.
"Now, we need to talk with the leaders of each place. Maybe they need materials or something that we can fetch for them." The Apex Omnivore asked.
"Sure." The group decided that a talk for materials could be negotiable.
The two different faction leaders went up to the top of the tallest mountain in the mountain range.
They found five different crystal balls. In each of the balls, the five Apex creatures were happily talking.
It was not even a minute later that every Apex creature was looking at two different Angelic Race leaders.
The first one was wearing metallic armor. It looked very thin from all aspects but it was very durable. He held a spear in his right hand and a sword on his right hip.
"I am the leader of the Warrior Angelic Race." The man bowed.
This was pleasing to the Apex creatures.
The next leader was the one who had originally wanted the Angelic Race to split up. He had smooth, silky hair. His wings looked like they were always pampered. To the Apex creatures, it looked more like he was the only one living a life of luxury to his comrades who were building a town from scratch.
"I am the leader of the Builder Angelic Race." The man bowed.
Although he did it in the same manner, he was not truly in the same spirit as the Warrior faction.
"Is there any material that we can give to each faction for doing such a marvelous job?" The Apex Herbivore asked.
"I do not require much. Some better ore so that my army can have some sharper weapons would be nice." The Warrior Angelic Race leader replied.
"It would be nice to have some for all of my men. I know that much is impossible. I would like at least enough for myself, my generals, and captains if possible." The Warrior Angelic Race leader finished.
"We will see how much we can find." The Apex Flyer replied.
The attention went over to the other leader.
"What my people have asked for is a being that they can call a god. They would like for it to bless the land that they have worked on." The Builder Angelic Race leader replied.
"That would be extremely tough, and we may not be able to get the materials for it." The Apex Swimmer replied.
"We shall see what we come up with. Thank you both for doing such marvelous jobs." The Apex Flyer replied.
The two leaders went on their ways.
"What shall we do about them?" The Apex Omnivore asked.
"I say we destroy the Builder Faction and allow the Warrior Faction to live." The Apex Carnivore replied.
"If a singular load is not enough for each group to make what they need. They will not survive." The Apex Herbivore replied.
With three out of the four Apex creatures in unison. A single ton of ore was dropped off at each place.
The Warrior Faction immediately began using their ore to make better weapons. Whereas the Builder Faction started to make a statue.
Both factions worked hard. The blacksmiths in the Warrior Faction made enough weapons to supply the entire army with better spears. They decided to wait on the swords for now. Reach was better than hand to hand combat for most of the army.
The Builder Faction had not completed their statue. They had the facial features started, the body outlined, and they ran out of material.
The next meeting was scheduled.
