Rex walked out of the house. He had already gathered some clothing for the First Generation Moon Champion. He knew that she was not planning on coming back after getting to know Violet well.
"Everyone. The Ancient Zuggurant will teleport us one day away from the dungeon entrance. If you have anything that needs to be done, make sure it is done within the hour." Rex told everyone.
The Beastmen and spiders went to go get some meat and store them in rings for the journey.
"These are some of your clothes and your jewelry in this ring of mine. This ring of yours contains your actual Qi Stones, and a little gift from me." Rex told the First Generation Moon Champion.
The First Generation Moon Champion looked at the ring with the gift. She was surprised to see a maid outfit. She did not know if he was joking or if he actually meant that she could join his woman, Violet.
She looked at him hard. She figured that this was a prank at first. Until she talked with Violet during the hour. She decided to put on the maid outfit once the trip to the dungeon was completed.
The Beastmen had killed three large beasts for meat. The spiders caught almost twenty rabbit-like creatures using their webs as traps.
The dead beasts were immediately put into rings. To ensure that they stayed fresh. As the hour came to a close. The Ancient Zuggurant got told to wait until everyone arrived before sending everyone close.
A little after the hour time limit was over did everyone return. Once everyone was accounted for did the Ancient Zuggurant send the group a day travel away.
"Everyone we will push ourselves to be at the entrance by dusk. Prepare yourselves to travel hard." Rex told them.
The spiders carried the Beastmen not to let their energy go to waste before the dungeon. The extra two moons rode with Rex and his women on the Beastmen Champion.
"Charge forward!" Rex commanded.
Everyone went.
"Formations will go as they were on the spiders." Rex thought.
Seeing the spiders and how they easily traveled. Rex also decided to have them break up.
"Two on the ceiling. One on each side. Two in front. Formation of Beastmen 1 beside the left spider on the ground. Formation of Beastmen 2 beside the right spider.
Formation 5 and 6 will be the rear guard. Formation 3 and 4 will be on the sides of us." Rex decided on the Formation of the group.
As they traveled, the day travel become almost a half day with the spiders.
The dungeon entrance became clear to them. A massive door that appeared out of nowhere seemed to be the entrance to the dungeon.
"Are you and your children good to go?" Rex asked.
"I am. Let me ask."
The spider did a weird movement. The rest of them did a weird movement as well. None of their riders could even tell of the movement.
"None of them are completely exhausted but they could use a rest."
Rex had a decision to make. To enter and allow the spiders to rest or wait and perhaps have a harder time with the entrance.
"Everyone. We will only enter the dungeon. No one is allowed to go any further than what is necessary." Rex commanded.
Everyone nodded.
Unlike before when the door could not be opened. This time the door seemed easy to open.
"Something is different now than before. It should not have been that easy. Even taking into account that the four moons are here. It still should have been hard." Rex thought.
Even the Ancient Zuggurant felt that way too after what happened last time.
Everyone just entered the dungeon. No one was left outside.
Upon entering, blue flames circled the first entry way. A massive circle with all kinds of drawings of beasts and monsters fighting each other on the left.
Humanoids fighting each other to the right side. As the fights continued, only the weakest seemed to be able to continue to the other side where they are statues preparing to fight with the entry way into the dungeon itself behind them.
"Everyone listen up." Rex commanded.
Their attention went to him and the four moons.
"I do not think that this will be an easy dungeon. According to the sides it looks like either we have to fight each other or dangerous beasts, monsters, and humanoids.
I do not want any of you to be afraid. So listen, do not fight each other. Even if you have to kill yourselves. I do not want anyone to feel guilty leaving here having to fight your comrades.
I can already tell you all that we all have to go through that entry way over there. It cannot be just myself going, either it is all of us or none of us.
I will assure you that the doors cannot be opened from the inside for one reason. Those statues are currently watching us."
Everyone turned their attention to the statues. It did not seem like they were watching. Until one spider tried to shoot a web at one of them.
The ground crumbled as the web was sliced. The two statues now prepared for combat if these intruders decided to go against the nature of the dungeon.
The spiders all prepared for combat. The Beastmen went to the spider whom they rode. Rex watched as the group was ready for combat.
Rex walked in front. He went to the sides to see how the ending should be. Instead of thinking that the weakest was the winner he thought that maybe the weakest was the start. He walked all the back to almost the entrance.
"I don't like this either way." Rex thought.
Both sides showed the same thing just in difference of Beasts and Humanoids.
"Allow the entry of those willing to fight. Do not allow entry if they attack guardians." Rex saw the words across the door frame of the entrance.
"Well, time to see if we can pass or not."
