As the group was ready to fight. Rex lead the group to the statues.
"Pass Humanoids"
All humans got to pass but Rex stayed behind.
"Pass Beastmen"
The Beastmen were the next to Pass.
"Pass Ancient Zuggurant"
The Ancient Zuggurant was next to go.
"Pass Spider Beastmen Champion"
She walked passed and turned around to ensure her children could pass.
"Pass Spider underlings"
With that all the group was able to advance. Since the group had no idea which route to take. They waited for Rex.
There were four different paths. Each pathway had a certain race that could enter in. So for the Beastmen, they could not enter the Spider Entrance but the Beastmen Moon Champion could enter either one but only one.
"Spiders, go to that entryway." Rex pointed.
The Beastmen Moon Champion also went in that direction.
"Beastmen go to that entryway." Rex pointed to another entryway.
"Ancient Zuggurant, I am sorry that you are the only one going alone but that entryway is yours." Rex pointed.
"It is alright. We had no idea what we were coming into." The Ancient Zuggurant replied with a somber tone.
"Everyone else follow me." Rex said.
Once everyone was at their entryway, "Everyone listen clearly, we do not fight each other. Always scan your footing and walls. Do not allow any enemy to hurt you or your comrades.
One final thing, if you reach your end of whatever this is. Do not attempt to advance. It will either lead all of us to our doom or yourselves to your doom.
With all of that, Moon Champion's do you have anything to add." Rex spoke.
"I do." The Ancient Zuggurant spoke up, "The ones who will have it the easiest are me and the spiders. First, the spiders will naturally not trigger the traps or the enemies. Even if they do, they will not get hurt. As for myself, I can easily bypass this and not give a damn.
As for you Beastmen, use your strongest senses. Each of you are different and take that into account if someone says anything. Humanoids, it is without a doubt that you have the most powerful Demon King out there on your side. Even with that, do not attempt to betray or hurt him. That will only lead to your death and possible the death of others."
As everyone listened, they were now pumped and had clarity of their minds. The Beastmen were ready for anything that they had to do.
"Depart." Rex said.
As the groups entered their entryways. Each group had an issue that they had to overcome.
For the Spider Group
They traveled through the corridor with surprising speed. They honestly could have done several marathons within the first couple of hours traveling.
Each spider feeling the waves of heat coming from ahead. They had not yet reached the heat source.
Traps were useless against them. Enemies who were ahead got a web to stop them in their tracks. Even arrows were caught up and broken.
Since they were feeling good. They did not notice that the heat was getting closer or hotter until the spider spoke up.
"Stop Children." She spoke up.
All of them stopped. Suddenly, all of them felt it. The entire heat wave around them. Nothing was going right at this time.
"Get on my legs." She spoke up.
Each of them curled up on a leg looking in every direction.
She pushed herself back as a fire discharge came up from where she was.
"I, the Fire Elemental, have come to be your opponent." A being of pure fire descended upon the Spider.
"I thought there were seven of you. I guess I was wrong. Only that you retracted several extra legs." The Fire Elemental spoke after checking the surroundings.
"Oh." The spider thought.
She did a movement to let her children know to keep themselves attached and eyes closed.
"What a weird movement for a spider." The Fire Elemental spoke up.
A burst of fire launched the elemental towards the spider trying to cut off her legs.
She instead used Earth Qi to block the Fire Elemental and slow him down. It did nothing has he melted it within seconds. That was all the time she needed.
As she spat several poisonous balls at the Fire Elemental. They became gas. The now poisonous fog covered the Fire Elemental. The Fire Elemental tried to burn more of its fire to get rid of the poison fog. It did not work and instead hurt him more.
Just to be safe the Spider launched several more poisonous balls at the Fire Elemental. Those were able to connect has it could not burn the poison away anymore.
The Spider just waited until the Fire Elemental was completely killed. Another hour of waiting came as the poison fog finally cleared.
In the center of the room was a trap for the Fire Elemental. The Spider making sure to avoid the trap tried to bypass it felt the coming of the heat wave.
Once again she dotted backwards as the Fire Elemental came from underneath.
Without waiting for the introduction to go off. She spat out several poisonous balls. Each one once again becoming a poisonous fog this time she ensured that it could not reach the top.
As the Fire Elemental slowly began to die once again. She passed by with incredible speed.
"No dinner for that tonight."
She saw another trap that had an ice symbol on it. Before the elemental could appear, she had already disappeared from there.
She did not want to waste anytime that she possibly could.
Finally a door came into view. She was happy. Upon looking at the door closely, she saw a Fire Symbol lit up and an Ice Symbol not lit up.
A screech came from her has as had to go back and fight the Ice Elemental.
"Hopefully, I can kill it and not worry about it."
She turned around to see the Ice Elemental staring off from a distance.
"Damnit" she proclaimed as she prepared to fight.
