As the wyvern and serpent glared at each other. The Fire King felt the terror of these two beasts.
'One is to protect, the other to just kill.' His thoughts on the duo.
RRRROOOOOAAAARRR
HHHHHIIIIIIIISSSSSSS
"Finally, today is the day I get to kill you. I will become a Dragon before you." The serpent hissed.
"You will be dead and used to allow me to become a Dragon." The wyvern roared.
The duo prepared to fight for the death. Something told Rex to wait and allow the dead serpent to lead him.
He gave his lovely Soul Mate Iris the look that he had a plan and she knew that he would try to get to the finale before anyone else could get there.
Rex turned his head to the fight.
"Curse the Fire from your mouth." The Fire King stated to the wyvern.
The wyvern let out a smash breath that began to eat at the scales of the serpent.
The serpent tried to use it's poison to counter the fire. Since it was cursed fire, the poison did not do anything to the fire.
"Curses." The serpent hissed because of the Fire King.
"Farewell for now." The serpent felt something on it.
When it looked, a devilish smile from Rex came to it as Rex was ready to kill it with a punch.
So he did, he punched the body so hard that it caused a violent tremor within the serpent. It's brain damaged due to the shakes from within that brought it almost to death. It's heart could not keep up with the amount of blood flow it's owner was currently putting on the heart. This caused the muscle to get behind on pumping and that was the cause of the death.
As the laid down on the top of the corridor floor. Rex had already finished going into whatever the serpent was trying to get into.
Before him a cauldron that was ready to mix whatever ingredients it had.
The tail of the serpent got directed into the cauldron. Due to the body being in three different locations. The pull on the serpent was almost impossible.
Suddenly, the wyvern appeared behind Rex.
"So this was where the serpent was going." The wyvern spoke.
Using whatever ability it had, he finished dragging the dead serpent into the cauldron.
"USE AS INGREDIENT!" The wyvern roared.
The cauldron roared to life as the water began to almost boil over.
"EVOLVE WYVERN USING THE CAULDRON OF BIRTH!" The wyvern roared.
The water stopped boiling. A liquid of purple and gold was in there. When the wyvern smelled it, he knew that something was missing.
"Here." Rex dripped a drop of blood on it.
The liquid turned into a bright orange color with the perfect smell to it.
"I hope that this evolves me." The wyvern spoke.
The wyvern opened its maw. The liquid went directly down it's throat.
"Weird. What kind of power allows that?" Rex wondered.
The wyvern began to shake off its scales as new scales were being replaced by it. Even the reverse scale was lost and a new reverse scale was there.
"Man, I feel great!" The wyvern roared.
It's wings now a much longer and wider, it's tail much thicker and deadly, it's claws shredding the tiles on the floor without trying to, the scales once a semi black now full dark black, it's eyes now a mix green and red the slit red while the rest green, and finally it's mid section much bulkier than last.
"Am I a dragon now?" The wyvern asked.
"No. You are still one phase away from becoming a dragon." A mechanical voice echoed.
"Why am I still one phase away?" The wyvern cried.
"To become a True Dragon you must either use the Master or the End Boss as an ingredient to further your evolution." The mechanical voice echoed.
"Fine. I cannot do anything to either one of those. Of course, if you help me. I will do whatever I can to help you in return." The wyvern spoke.
"I was planning to try and help finish this Labyrinth anyways. We can find the duo and try to win." Rex said.
"Well, no Moon Champion is close by. So the door to the Master Chamber will not open. That does not mean you cannot fight the End Boss. It will be much harder without the Master being defeated first." The wyvern spoke.
"Will the Master become easier if the End Boss is defeated?" Rex asked.
"Honestly, no one has ever tried attacking the End Boss. Or those who did became like the Fire King and unable to remember the End Boss at all." The wyvern spoke.
"Whatever just lead me to the area where I can fight the End Boss." Rex said.
Thus the wyvern lead the way for Rex.
The Ancient Zuggurant took the lead for the other group to continue towards the Master Chamber.
