Once the group was ready to enter the Fire Corridor, they charged like madmen. No amount of defenses were ready for the anger group charging.
"DO NOT FALTER!" Rex ordered.
The group now charging with even more feral nature. The spiders kept anything from slowing the group down on the walls and ceiling.
The smell of sulfur and acid kept the Beastmen who used their sense of smell to be unable to smell any change. As for the sight Beastmen, their eyes glued to the ground to ensure that nothing ahead will hurt the group.
"Ahead shot at the black tile" the sight Beastmen shouted.
The spiders did as such. One trap could be stepped on and not activated now. The group continued to charge forward.
Meanwhile
"Fire King, it seems like that they wish to battle together." A feminine voice echoed in the darkest shadows.
"It is not for me to decide to go. It is up to me to decide rather or not we can protect our Master and the End Boss." This voice sounded very masculine and powerful.
"Let us not forget that a Demon King of Annihilation is with that group. Our Master can handle the small fries himself but that humanoid will take the End Boss to try and battle." Another masculine voice echoed.
"Oh, seems like we are at a stalemate. I wish another female was here currently."
"We never have had a reason to have multiple females because of our Master and the End Boss. I figured you would have had more children as well." The second masculine voice echoed.
"It takes too much Qi to produce a single child. Not to mention, their blood essence is also part of the deal. So from myself I almost kill myself while they drop three blood essences into the Cauldron of Birth. Unless one of sacrifices themselves into the Cauldron of Birth to bring forth a massive being of death. It will take too much time to grow the child born from the Cauldron of Birth."
"Well, since you know how we were brought in here. Can you tell us?" The first masculine voice echoed.
"We three were once team. Each of us leading a small group. The End Boss was the person whom we were meant to fight.
Instead, we were trapped. The End Boss separated us. I was the first to be born.
Once I had access to Qi and my memories faded. I had to use all of the former comrades to birth you two.
As for our Master, we had to birth him from our collective Qi and essence. This was to ensure that we do not try just birthing anything for our control."
The duo felt that their memories come back to them.
"Yeah. I now remember." The first one replied.
"I only remember bits and pieces." The second one replied.
"PREPARE FOR BATTLE FIRE KING! FOR YOUR ELEMENTAL WILL DIE SHORTLY!" A voice echoed in their corridor.
"I am sorry to leave you two first." The Fire King stated.
He got up from a lighter part of the shadows. He looked completely human just covered in head to toe with fire symbols, raging fire, even a mouth spewing fire on his back, the craziest part of them all was his legs were burnt black and it looked as if the worshipped the upper body covered in fire.
"You may want to change your style to a more battle hardened champion." The feminine voice spoke.
"Fire does not need much to go out of control. Making myself look different takes too long."
"No worries about the group. Just do the best you can." The other masculine voice echoed.
"Thanks to the two of you for cheering me up."
The Fire King left ready to die.
"Is this going to be our fate?" The other man asked.
"Honestly, I would rather hope not and live peacefully." The female spoke.
Meanwhile
"FIRE ELEMENTAL AHEAD! PREPARE FOR BATTLE!" The Beastmen roared.
The Water Qi users all shot their Water Balls at first. This was to test how much could actually hurt the Elemental.
The Elemental almost completely died out with just the first wave of Water Balls.
"STOP!" Rex ordered.
He knew whatever was going to happen it was about to happen.
"Good job in controlling the group, Demon King of Annihilation. This is where you and your group must stop." The Fire King appeared before them.
Rex stepped forward to meet the Fire King.
"Curses of Fire, Curses of Death, and I believe a Curse on your Soul to destroy you if you misbehave." Rex said after a sniff of the air.
"Congratulations. You now know what I have to do." The Fire King said.
The reason why Rex stepped up was not to know about the Curses. To figure out, if they could pass by without fighting. With the Curse on his Soul, Rex had to go back into the Forbidden Era to try and help the man in front of him.
"I apologize if this hurts in advance." Rex spoke.
The Fire King did not have a chance to speak before he felt his Soul being ripped in two. The Curse that should activate if he is misbehaving being torn away from the Fire King.
The Master and End Boss unable to trigger the Curse because neither side was fighting. It was only the Curse on his Soul being ripped apart and this caused the group not to fight the three heads that would have caused massive harm to the group.
Once the Curse was fully in Rex's hands he purified it. The curse dissolved into nothingness and Rex felt extremely exhausted. He did not dare show it to the enemy nor to the group behind him.
"I was born here. I hope that you can help my friends as well."
Before any more words could be said, a being appeared behind the Fire King.
"Oh filthy Serpent. Today is the day you and I fight for the last time." The wyvern appeared behind the group.
