Keeping this Mark secret

Carol continued, "Not everyone has a soulmate, but if you have one, you will end up finding each other, no matter where he is, it's like you are drawn to each other by a force that you can't fight."

Cassy had still a million questions to ask her but Carol then clapped her hands to let the girls know that the discussion was over and she told Cassy to get changed now that she was dry, and then they would leave her pocket dimension to wait for her husband and son.

And when Cassy had finished getting dressed, Carol breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that the dress she had chosen for her fit her divinely and that it masked perfectly the multicolored Mark of the Pentacle.

It was a sky blue shirt dress to go with the color of her eyes with short sleeves, and this dress almost reached her knees which was perfect for a young girl of Cassy's age.

The top of her body was thus completely protected from the indiscreet glances and she could even unbutton the first two buttons without any problem.

She then warned her that she had to keep this Mark secret at all costs and that she couldn't tell anyone, not even her future teachers and friends, because as soon as the rumor was spread that the Divine Mage had appeared, the demons would try to kill her by sending bounty hunters or mercenaries who worked for them.

Cassy was a little scared after hearing that but she was glad to have met Carol because she could feel she only wanted to protect her.

So, she listened to her carefully, she had just died of a fever and escaped drowning, it really wasn't hard for a horde of murderers to go after her.

Carol then took them back to the living room and she showed her the guest room which would now be her room, she told her that during the week she would sleep at the Academy of Catara but on weekends if she wished to, she could come here and live with them.

And as they walked back to the living room, Cassy asked her what she was going to learn exactly at the Academy.

Carol explained to her that the Academy was all about self-study and that students had unlimited access to the library.

She told her that each time she reached the next level, she would have access to the books she needed to progress, and that the only classes she would have at the beginning would be the classes to teach her how to make magic pills.

She also told her that at first she didn't have to worry about having to get magic herbs to make her magic pills because the Academy had an unlimited supply for level 1 and 2 magic herbs.

Cassy then curiously asked her why she had to make magic pills and Carol told her that the more she made the more her energy reserve would increase, it was also thanks to this that she would level up.

Carol also explained to her that using the red flame and the white flame couldn't be learned before reaching the level 5 normally, and she told her that there were 8 types of flames in total.

Cassy frowned when she heard that because she only knew 5 types of flames, the red flame for fire, the blue one for water, the yellow one for air, the green one for earth and finally the white one to heal.

Carol nodded and told her that here the white flame represented the light, and that the 3 flames she didn't know were the black one for the darkness, the purple one for the metal and the last one was silver and represented the lightning.

She told her that the greater her energy reserve would be, the more able she would be to master flames other than the one of fire and light, and that to forge the weapon for the Golden Dragon, she would absolutely have to master the purple flame.

Cassy nodded, and just as she was about to ask her how much the magic herbs she had brought her were worth because she still needed money, and even though Carol had offered her to take care of her, she felt a little weird to ask her for money... The three of them were interrupted by the arrival of Carol's husband, Glen, and Paige's brother, Adrian, who was accompanied by his best friend Steven.

Adrian looked a lot like his mother and sister, but he had his father's build.

He had short, curly blond hair, bright green eyes, and a pleasant looking face that made you want to befriend him right away.

Glen, who was Carol's husband and the strongest of them all, immediately sensed that there was something strange about this girl who was sitting in their living room and who seemed to get along well with his wife and daughter.

He was tall and had a muscular body and unlike the other members of his family he had short black hair, hazel eyes and sharp features.

Cassy, who was a very sensitive person had also felt Glen's powerful aura, and it was as if his aura was saying 'don't try to mess with me or you'll regret it', which must have suited him perfectly because Paige had told her that he was one of the best Worrior instructors at the Academy of Catara.

As for Steven, curiously he looked more like Glen than his own son.

He too was built like a Greek God of the legends of her world.

He had short black hair, he was handsome and he gave off a mysterious aura that would have allowed him to be a model without a doubt in her home world.

But that wasn't what attracted her the most about him, this mysterious young man who must have been just 20 years old hadn't taken his eyes off her since he had entered the room and his eyes were a color she had never seen before.
