A tingling sensation

Holy shit, was all she could think of before she was violently thrown across the room by an invisible force.

She had just enough time to create a fire shield in front of her before she crashed into the wall.

Fortunately she had excellent reflexes and wasn't injured, her fire shield having completely absorbed the shock and having allowed her to break her fall.

When she got up and made her fire shield disappear with only a wave of her hand, she saw the stunned look on the boys' faces.

And when she saw Steven looking at his wrist dumbfounded, she asked him right away, "Are you alright? I'm sorry, I really didn't expect that the seal would be so powerful, I hope I didn't hurt you, did I?"

A new message then appeared in her mind.

[Congratulations, you have found the strongest Warrior, the rewards will be given to you once you will have open your spiritual mind]

So she was right, Steven was really the strongest Warrior, and that meant he could only be the Golden Dragon that she had seen in her visions.

And she had been right too about this Divine Mage System.

By following its instructions, it had led her to him, and even though she didn't know how the System worked yet, at least she was sure that she had to followed its instructions to succeed on her missions.

Steven was once again stunned by this girl, she had just been thrown by a mysterious force across the room because of him and she was still worried about whether he was okay or not, did she have no sense of danger?

Fortunately, Cassy apparently was no ordinary Mage.

He had never seen a Mage of her age capable of summoning a flame, let alone an entire shield made of fire.

Only Mages with a lot of experience usually managed such a feat, and she seemed to have done it as if it was innate to her.

He finally decided to go check if she was injured or not, as Adrian seemed too shocked by what he had just seen to react normally.

And so, he approached her and the closer he got to her, the more his heartbeat quickened.

Again he had this strange feeling of not being able, and not wanting to take his eyes off her, and Cassy who was watching him intrigued, apparently wondering what he was going to do to her, looked just too cute like this.

He smiled awkwardly to reassure her, and he started to check that she wasn't hurt.

He made her raise her arms, and turned her around, and when he saw with relief that she was fine, he then took her hand with which she had touched this so-called purple seal, and just as her hand made contact with his, he immediately felt a tingling sensation that spread throughout his arm.

He opened his eyes wide, completely caught off guard, but he finally understood why his heartbeat had quickened and why his feelings were so heightened since he had laid eyes on Cassy.

It all made sense because she was his soulmate, all the signs were there... He couldn't believe it, he had never expected to meet his soulmate one day, and yet this miracle had happened.

Following his instinct, he pulled her to him and took her in his arms, tightening his embrace around her.

He said to her as he put his chin above her head and while stroking her hair, "Don't ever do that again, you could have been seriously hurt."

Adrian at that moment didn't know if he was more shocked by the fact that Cassy was able to create a fire shield or by the fact that his best friend who was usually distant and cold with everyone, despite his great popularity due to the fact that he was really handsome, took a stranger in his arms and was caressing her hair.

He almost felt his jaw drop to the floor as the scene was so surreal, and while he was at a loss to know how to react to this situation his father arrived followed quickly by his mother and both breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that they were all okay.

Adrian finally regained his sense and he cleared his throat to get his parents attention before asking them, "Would you mind explaining to me what's going on here?"

Glen nodded to him and when he went to approach Steven to signal him to go back to his seat, he stopped dead in his track when Steven gave him a warning look that clearly told him to stay away from them.

What the hell was that, thought Glen.

If he had stopped so suddenly it wasn't because of the threatening look Steven was given to him, because for him, he was only a kid who still had a lot to learn and he was still a lot stronger than him right now.

He also considered Steven as his own son so he knew perfectly well that he would never hurt one of them.

No, what forced him to stop was the golden circles that had just appeared in his eyes around his pupils.

When Paige had come and shown them the seal that Cassy had drawn and told them that she had said it was a purple seal, and that it was placed right above Steven's Dragon birthmark, they both had deduced that there was a good chance that Steven was the reincarnation of the Golden Dragon.

And Carol, who had been forced to study the seals when she was still with her family in Spartia, told them that this kind of seal was made to disappear on its own when Steven would turn 21, and that only a legendary Mage could have done it.

She also told them that this seal was a very powerful one and that if it felt threatened, it could use a protective barrier.
