Another Uninvited Guest

The morning wind softly blew around Marissa. She was still sleepy and didn't want to open her eyes. Turning her body to avoid the sunlight, she pulled the blanket up to her shoulders.

"Morning…"

Blake's voice that came through her ears widened her eyes. She recalled yesterday that she slept after Larisa went home. Immediately got up she searched for a clock and ended up reaching for her phone to check the time.

"Did I sleep straight until morning?" Her rounded eyes looked at Blake, waiting for the answer.

Blake nodded. "What's wrong?" He just watched her being anxious right when she woke up.

"Nothing…" Marissa shook her head, looking a bit lost. The reason why she slept a lot during the day was because she couldn't seem to sleep well at night. She slept a lot before, but the duration was not long. If it was during the day, the longest she could sleep was an hour and she would wake up with no reason.
