"What secret?"

"Well...your relationship with him, I won't tell anyone."

Blake and Marissa knew each other since they were young, but one accident cost Blake his chances at being with Marissa. So against his better judgement, in order to be near her, he agreed to be her best friend.

Ten years later, using the pressure his family imposed upon him to get married. Blake concocted a plan to enlist Melissa's help. Her role was to play as his wife.

The big living room was filled with the voice of the two grown up men. Blake and Remy didn't stop bickering and Ruby was so out of it. She stood up to go to the sofa when she heard her name called from upstairs.

"Grandma?" Marissa called but she was shy and awkward.

Ruby smiled looking at her and waving her hand at her, "Come…"

Slowly walking down the stairs, her eyes caught on the man who was standing beside Blake. She was curious as to why the man was here.

"Grandma…" Marissa smiled and gently hugged her. "How are you?"

"I am fine." Ruby spread her arms and moved her body a bit. "As you can see." She giggled. "How about you dear? How are you doing all this time?"

"Hmm…" Marissa let out a huge hum while thinking the best answer for the question. "I guess I am doing just okay…" She laughed since she knew that was not the honest answer from her.
