Marissa's Father

"Let me see…" Blake peek under the white floppy hat and smiles looking at Marissa who was wearing sunglasses. "Can you really see, babe?" He asked since it was night and walking with sunglasses during the night was not a good idea.

"Yes…" Marissa answered quickly. "I have you too…" Quickly linking her arms into her, Marissa looked up, "Let's go…"

They entered the big restaurant in front of them and the moment Marissa entered the room Blake reserved for them, she took off her head and sunglasses. She still was not uncomfortable going outside. The accident that happened before, even though she almost recovered from them, still left a big scar in her memories.

"Did they say they are on the way?" Blake asked, taking a seat beside her.

Nodded cutely, Marissa spun the rotating centre on the dining table. "How about grandma?"

"She is almost here. Are you hungry? Shall we order the food first?" He asked when he saw Marissa staring blankly at the table.
