Jeremy opened the door, and we all let ourselves in into a mess of drink cans, pizza boxes and crumpled tissues. The last time I stepped in this place, it looked luxurious and refined, but today, it looked like a hurricane had hit it.

Devon's grim face turned harder and harder as he took in the state of the place. He clearly despised it, and knowing him as a clean freak, I could only imagine how disgusted he must be feeling.

"Sir? Mason Sir?" Jeremy called his boss but got no reply.

"Maybe he is in his bedroom?" I suggested slowly.

Jeremy nodded and was about to take another step when a door to my right opened, and a figure walked out lazily.

I was taken aback by Mason's state. Unruly hair, swollen red puffy eyes, dark circles under those dim green eyes, dishevelled clothes that didn't look fresh at all.

Was he crying?
