Those words were echoed in the pages of history, celebrating the infamous demon's death at the hands of her angelic arch-nemesis. After eighty-five years of peace between Heaven and Hell, the world is finally getting used to its current state of balance. But when Bentley inexplicably comes crawling back from her grave to wreak havoc once again, the structure of the four realms instantly comes crashing down.

After reuniting with his formerly deceased rival, low-ranking angel Atticus pash de Ophaniel finds himself caught up in a wild tangle of adventures. From babysitting Lucifer himself, to discovering horrible truths about his own existence, Atticus is forced to acknowledge the trauma of his past. And in doing so, unearths memories of a long-lost friendship held between himself and the person he always thought he hated the most.

God's Gone AWOL

It goes without saying that the realm of Heaven was a massive place. 


Unlike the other three realms, Heaven didn't operate in a single plane of existence. While Earth, Purgatory, and Hell were all just one singular body —one planet, one cave, one place that could be stepped on, looked at and properly mapped— Heaven was actually built up of seven different dimensional layers, overlapping with each other and coexisting in one physical space. Though the concept sounds a bit abstract, truthfully the logic was quite similar to a building with multiple floors —only those floors were all on the same floor, but were still mostly independent floors unto themselves.
