Those words were echoed in the pages of history, celebrating the infamous demon's death at the hands of her angelic arch-nemesis. After eighty-five years of peace between Heaven and Hell, the world is finally getting used to its current state of balance. God's Gone AWOL

Soon, the day of the baptism was upon them. 


It was a strong tradition amongst angels —a divine coming-of-age ceremony in which young angels would accompany their seniors to a riverbank somewhere in the Earthly realm. There, they would be lowered into the water and receive a blessing of purification to mark a union between the angel as an individual and Heaven as a community. There was nothing physically significant, it was only to appease the spirit. However, it was considered to be a very important rite of passage in a young angel's life, and could not be avoided.
