He cleared his throat, looking at her with a playful smirk. After waiting for for two minutes, Tina groaned, 'would you start already?' she questioned internally, she rolled her eyes and before she could speak, she heard him begin.
Finally...
"Well we met at a restaurant, a fancy restaurant. I went there wanting to try a new dish a friend of mine recommended was served there.
I was about to settle down on a table before my eyes captured a very beautiful but distressed lady all alone on her table which was before mine, she was shedding silent tears. My curiosity got the best of me, so I moved myself from my table to hers and sat down. Before my brain could process what to do next, my body moved on it's own. My hand raising to tap her head, softly, reassuring..
When she looked up, I couldn't help but noticed how her tears stricken face still looked so beautiful. Most girls will have their make up smeared all over their face but she didn't look half bad.
When ours eyes met, she looked shocked, like she had just seen a ghost."
"Why?" Tina asked, interrupting.
"I don't know, strangely I didn't bother asking"
"Okay...So what next?"
"Well, surprisingly she confided in me, without too much of me persuading her. She just seem to trust me and I was glad.
Her issue wasn't really serious, that is to me though. It was a break up issue.
So... after the whole event, we met coincidentally at the restaurant again, we then exchanged contacts info and from there we met occasionally at the restaurant to the point it became our favorite spot" Andrew gave a light chuckle, then continued "We became friends, close friends. When I told her I wasn't comfortable with where I was working, she decided to help me. Her dad is in partners with this company, so she got a job for herself and me and here we are.
Although, there's something strange about her, when I introduced her to Alice, the both of them on first sight just seem to dislike each other and till date, she doesn't like me mentioning anything related to Alice to her"
"I can't blame her, I don't like Alice too" she shrugged "but Why Alice though?" Tina couldn't help but ask,she wondered how Andrew got stuck with a girl as Alice.
"I don't want to talk about it" Andrew replied sharply, All smiles leaving his face. Seeing this, Tina rolled her eyes at him.
"Well, this girl seems nice" Tina said smiling. excited to meet her.
"She is nice" Andrew corrected as he started working.
Hours passed and it was lunch break. Andrew took Tina to meet the lady whose office was also on the fifth floor.
The moment the door of the lady's office opened and Tina set her eyes on her, she screamed in disbelieve.
"Bridget!!"
