"Bridget, you want us to put stones on my bed and lie on it!, then not fall asleep till 1 o'clock,all for a silly belief?." Tina almost laughed.Seems like she made a mistake inviting her crazy friend for a sleepover.
"It isn't just a silly belief Tina.People say it actually works." Bridget frowned at Tina then continued."If we do it Tina,we would dream of our future husbands,isn't it intriguing!,whether it works or not,there's no harm in trying."
"My back?." Tina raised a brow at her.
"Don't worry, we would go to a spa for massage!,c'mon Tina,aren't you curious?." Bridget held her smile knowing Tina would give in soon.
"Fine,I'll do it,I am curious" Bridget was right!.
"yay!" She gave Tina a big hug,Tina returned it smiling widely.
   ......
"Would you drop your phone Tina..." Bridget whined as she looked at the 'so busy on her phone' Tina.
"I'll drop it now, just one more video please" Tina pleaded as she shifted uncomfortably on her bed of stones.she wondered how Bridget was looking so comfortable.
She was prepared to switch off her phone when a video of the CEO of Ray's enterprises popped up.It was a simple unaware video of him holding a glass of water,trying to loose his tie while speaking with his board members in a meeting.His personal secretary standing beside him and his guards behind.But to Tina it wasn't a simple video,it was the most elegant video she has ever watched,His every move perfect,His body perfect,face so perfect.How come she never knew of him,she wondered as she read more about him.Tina thought he was the most handsome human she has ever seen.Surprisingly she wished he would be her future husband,it would be nice she thought.But she knew deep down it was impossible.With a very pretty secretary next to him,What would make him fall in love with a girl like her?.she sighed sadly.She turned off her phone, glanced at Bridget who was fast asleep,adjusted herself then follow suit and slept.
Dreaming of nothing but him.

Her dream man

Bridget was clearing her table, getting ready to go out for lunch and also meet Andrew and his friend that would be staying with her. 


When she received a call from Andrew telling her about the whole issue, she pitied the girl having to face a girl like Alice. She believed she would have said the same words too. She also understands getting a house in country X would be difficult due to the expense and scarcity, So she decided to take her in, since she was staying alone. 


Although she had another reason for her agreement, a reason she wouldn't admit out loud, which was because it was related to Andrew. She would do anything for Andrew as far it wasn't related to Alice. 


She released a short sigh at the thought. She just hoped this girl would be comfortable with her, Although Andrew already assured her that she is a nice and tolerant girl. 


She was about to head out as it was already lunch break when her door clicked opened. She guessed it would be Andrew and his guest as she was expecting them since she was a bit late but what she did not expect was to see.. 


They both screamed their names at the same time as their heart skipped a beat. 


Bridget wondered when was the last time she saw or heard from her Tina and realized it has been three years already. 


Since the tragic incident that happened to her in Country M, she left the country leaving anything that reminded her of Country M behind. Including Tina. 


She did not inform Tina about it and only saw her last the day after their sleep over night three years ago. She really felt bad about what she did but it was late to do anything, she had lost contacts already and although she knew she could go back to Country M, she was ashamed to go back and face Tina. After the bond they shared.she thought to herself that she was a bad friend. 


They both couldn't help but hug each other so tight. They had a lot of questions to ask each other but they needed this hug so much as they let their tears stream down their pretty faces. 


Andrew on the other side was so dumbstruck, he didn't get the situation at all. He heard Tina call her by her name -Bridget- 


Was she the same Bridget Tina has been talking about all those three years?, If yes,then he had indeed being a blind man. He stood rooted to the ground, unmoving as he watched the two getting all emotional. 


After some moments of silent emotional breakthrough, Tina and Bridget broke away from their tight hug. Their faces smeared with tears. Luckily Andrew had two kerchiefs in his pockets. 


"Okay..why don't we clean those tears now" 


The girls chuckled as they received the kerchiefs from Andrew, cleaning their tears away. 


"I know we all have a lot of questions to ask. So why don't we head to the eatery and get something to eat while we talk, hm?" Andrew suggested. As expected of a foodie. Tina and Bridget nodded their heads and with that, they all headed to the eatery. 


"Thank you" Tina and Bridget unisoned as Andrew dropped their meals on the table. Tina was about to ask questions as expected but Bridget's voice stopped her midway. 


"I know you have questions, we all have questions to ask but before that, I want to apologize. I am really sorry Tina for leaving you without letting you know, for cutting all ties with you without you even being aware. I regretted every decision I made, I regretted not having the guts to get connected to you when I knew I could. The bond we created and shared and cherished, I broke it. All because I wasn't emotionally stable. I am sorry, please forgive me Tina. please..." Bridget held back her tears as she waited for Tina's reaction.
