Magical Imperfection 56: Interrupted Rest B4 Danger

MIR can’t argue since it was true. Her power kept growing and without a proper host like Ayame, MIR’s power would explode and kill anyone in its way. As the adult started chatting about what to prepare while the provoked fallen creature lurked around the same area, MIR suddenly lost her balance making Ayame worried.

“When was the last time you rest without magic?” Ayame quickly asked making MIR look the other way. She knew that Ayame was worried and pissed at the same time from not noticing it.

“I don’t recall,” MIR answered but still not looking at her.

“You’ve been worrying about my well-being but not you.” Ayame’s tone was getting high and it was making MIR cower a little.

“Don’t be mad at me, please, Aya…” MIR’s voice started to quiver. Ayame heard it and sighed before kissing her forehead.

“Sorry. If I made you worried, you are too. I am worried that you’re going to vanish one day.” She sadly admitted while smiling and MIR looked deeply at her. She cupped her face.
