Lyle's Strategic Deception: Balancing Empire, Rebels, and Shadows

Lyle had used the card shortly after evolving.

For two weeks, he had been inside a pocket dimension where time flowed differently, allowing him to do whatever he wanted to do without any time passing outside.

In order to get the best benefits from the simulation card, one should conjure an image of an opponent that they were familiar with, that would help them improve the most. Depending on the person, this card would be more or less useful.

If one could only conjure weak enemies, then, even if they spent a month, they wouldn't be able to sharpen their skills by a lot, but if they could create an enemy that was about their strength or higher, they would be able to use the immense pressure such people brought to fight without a care in the world and improve tremendously.

Lyle was the latter.

He had conjured a person from the very beginning, one he was very familiar with.
