honestly I don't know how to write review I like it,simple as that

It feels empty. It feels like the protagonist is maintaining a facade, as opposed to acting naturally. I also can't help but question the practicality of certain events. Posing as a khilman, a supposed battle hardened maniac, that... decided to randomly investigate the appearance of beasts? If the idea was to avoid suspicion why even think to bring up the issue at all, especially when the protagonist insists on using the area as a hunting ground? The actions are completely contradictory, then you have him perform acts of great foresight, as though he planned such intricacies. I don't want an idiotic protagonist, but making him senselessly intelligent will only question the validity of all his actions. Why doesn't he simply have a change of clothes? Why doesn't he enter and leave the town at more reasonable hours to avoid attention? Why doesn't he utilise his makeup kit to take on an appearance or conjure a back story that perhaps gives credence to his late night shenanigans. I'm sure there will be some rationale later on that will somehow justify these actions, but I can't really understand how he can appear so shortsighted.

Author's shameless 5 star review. Hi guys, so this novel will be the second novel I have published here, I am publishing it for the Fantasy Carnival and I hope to get a good score there. Anyway, if you have read my previous novel, then you will be familiar with the system, if not, don't worry, it's nothing complicated. The novel is a dark one, the main character is not like the one, or ones in my previous novel. So expect a dark world where the main character needs to navigate in order to survive and raise his power.

Overall great book with smooth introduction into the story. Character development goes with decent pacing, making them well rounded (terms of traits & personality). World building which is also significant, describes the details good enough for the reader to depict the image of surroundings much easier.

Excellent book with great storytelling and interesting characters. A great read for anyone to get into, especially if you enjoy fantasy settings. The chapters are very well paced and it doesn't feel cumbersome to read at any point, as a matter of fact I can't put my phone down. Great work by the author, as was expected after his previous book was a hit as well.

I love reading novels that have a cold-blooded mc that doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, and this novel is just that. The MC is calculating and cold, doesn't mind killing people to get what he needs and wants, and does some things that I didn't expect, so far, loving it.

Absolutely loving the novel so far. The beginning is a bit tense and shows just what kind of a person the MC is, and thankfully, he is a cold-blooded person that doesn't mind even killing civilians in order to get to his target. The story starts off strong and continues with the same, with some short parts where the story slows down a bit in order to show the MC planning some things or to explain the world. Worldbuilding is something I enjoy when done right, and so far, even though we know little about the many kingdoms and empires of the world as the story is focused on the empire where the MC resides in, we get a glimpse of the more powerful empires and characters that stand at the top of the world. We only get a bit of them, and some explanations about who they are and how powerful they are, but it's enough as the MC is too weak to come in contact with them. As for the MC himself, he has his goals, but there is also a bit of mystery attached to him, which I have been enjoying so far. His thoughts and plans are not simple and he knows how to plot in order to get what he needs or to eliminate those that would be an obstacle. So far, loving the story and hoping for more of the same!

I love it so far . I am not too sure is he a vampire with a bloodline as strong as the empress or just a lord bloodline like his father

I really really like it , vampires and no harem are my favorite genre

is there romance?I saw the 18 tag so I'm curious if it's for gory scenes or intimate scenes

I have no complaints - it’s perhaps heavy on the chapters-long fight scenes but that’s a personal preference and I know many love this.

hi author i haven't yet read this book but i absolutely loved 'is this really a game?' well I'm sure this book will be as good as the other stories you have written so I'm going to say everyone should give it a go
