Lyle could feel the presence of other monsters being drawn by the blood of the injured giant fish. He knew they had to reach the fourth island quickly before they were surrounded by even more dangerous creatures.
As they approached the fourth island, Lyle could see the rugged coastline and the dense jungle beyond. The sun had fully risen now, casting a bright light over the island. Nicholas flew towards a secluded beach, landing on it and quickly speeding forward with Lyle and hiding their presence amongst the trees while observing the sea.
The giant fish stopped following them for a while as it had bigger issues to deal with.
The surface of the water was calm for a bit before suddenly bubbles and many ripples appeared.
In an instant, the surface of the water exploded as the fish lunged out, its body already in the mouth of another, larger sea monster.
