Weird Village

The group moved quickly, the oppressive weight of the corrupted forest gone as they finally left the corrupted place and entered the open plains beyond it. For a moment, they all felt relief as they took a breath of the fresh air and glanced at the night sky. But even then, their thoughts were racing, they were all focused on getting as far from the corruption as possible, to leave the Flowing Wind Empire that was no longer safe as it seemed to be on the verge of being overtaken by the corruption.

Lyle glanced at his group, nodding inwardly upon seeing that all of them were in good condition, with only a few injuries present. He glanced at Corin, the newest servant for whom he had high hopes for, and sighed.

Corin was not showing any emotion, not even the slightest bit. But Lyle could sense it, he could sense that inside, the young man was hurting, his mind was drifting.
