CHAPTER 013: Princess Jasmine's Weakness

"What? I'm hungry," Yanarym said.

She stretched out her arm to reach for the tray, which carried a hot soup-filled bowl and a piece of bread. To her delight, Princess Jasmine demonstrated her kindness by offering her a slice of freshly baked bread.

"The soup doesn't taste weird either. Eriela really does magic with her plants, unlike those vipers' venom, agh. They taste disgusting," Yanarym muttered as she took the spoon and scooped.

Guide-sama: "Who told you to intake them? No one said you should make yourself suffer and consume those venoms."

"You don't really understand my pain, do you? I don't like poisons either! Amp! It's still hot! I think I burned my tongue!" Yanarym fanned her tongue with her hand to cool it down. She was so hungry that she forgot to blow the heat away!

Guide-sama: "Take it slow. You feasted on your dinner last night and you still eat like you didn't have anything for months."

"That was yesterday; today is not yesterday. Of course, the food is already digested in my system. And I have to gain immunity to the poison, you should be happy that I am eating plenty."

Guide-sama: "I don't feel emotions."

"Yeah, right…"

Guide-sama: "At least limit your poison consumption each day. You had a high fever until now. In this case, your body could no longer last for a year."

"My life can't even last for half a year if I don't do this much." Yanarym held the bread, dipped it in the soup, and took a big chunk of it. "My enemies are all over the place, you know."

Guide-sama: "I can't win an argument with you."

"Why do you even want to argue? Jush sshupport meh (just support me)."

Guide-sama: "Don't speak when your mouth is full."

"Yesh, Mammi."

Guide-sama: "I'm not your mother."

"You are qualified to be one. You worry too much; you talk too much."

Guide-sama: "You said you don't like pain."

"I don't. Who likes pain? Those people are sick; they need help if they like to be in pain."

Guide-sama: "But you suffer every time you consume something as dangerous as those poisons. Are you mental?"

"What do you mean mental?! I told you; I don't have a choice. This is my only route to survival. After I finish this, I should head out to sell and buy some stuff. Jasmine did not notice the missing things in this room, right? I've covered it with enough dust."

Guide-sama: "She didn't."

"Good. Since the operation to die and come back to life is successful. I just have to clean this room first."

Guide-sama: "You will clean the room? You can clean?!"

"Of course, I can."

Guide-sama: "I never saw you clean."

"Because someone was doing it for me, why would I waste my energy to do it? Work efficiently, not hard."

Guide-sama: "But Yanarym, I'm really confused. Is it necessary for you to die to alter Original's personality?"

"What do you mean? You're the one who told me if I want to alter Original's personality, I need to have a reason."

Guide-sama: "I did, but, considering Original's situation, you did not have to resort to showing you died."

"Why?"

Guide-sama: "The Original has no one, she's been isolated from everyone for ten years. No one could say that you had a sudden change of personality or attitude. It is natural for a person to change in the span of ten years being alone in this palace."

"Are you forgetting someone?"

Guide-sama: "Someone? Who?"

"Jasmine. Do you think you can fool that one? You cannot underestimate her, Guide-sama."

Guide-sama: "But she doesn't really interact with the Original."

"Yes, she doesn't talk to her, but that doesn't mean she doesn't observe the Original. Jasmine has a very meticulous personality, Guide-sama. She is hard to defeat. No one likes to become enemies with her after witnessing what she could do."

Guide-sama: "Is she stronger than you?"

"Hmm, Jasmine is strong."

Guide-sama: "Aren't you supposed to be the greatest?"

"Well, considering this is her first life. She's too great. I've been living for a long time; I've learned many things. While Jasmine only knows what is now. Can you imagine her transmigrating like me? Gosh, I could imagine her conquering the world faster than me."

Guide-sama: "You sound like you like her a lot."

"I do! Isn't she impressive?"

Guide-sama: "But she is your enemy, you have to eradicate her; you can't lose to her, Yanarym."

"I know," Yanarym laughed and finished the bowl of soup and the bread she was eating. "I know she's amazing, and she has a weakness too."

Guide-sama: "A weakness? Are you going to take her down first? Which is more formidable to you? Queen Eriela or Princess Jasmine?"

"Formidable, huh." Yanarym stood up from the bed and put the tray back on the side table. She brushed her hair through her fingers and walked to the dusty carpet headed to the window and opened it.

She slowly felt the stuffy air in her chamber dissipate as she breathed in the outside fresh air. Across from her window was a vast view of the forest behind her castle. The garden that was abandoned was also looking exquisite despite its state.

"Eriela is a very sneaky woman. However, I guess I have to put my bet on Jasmine. She's the best."

Guide-sama: "Then, you have to put her down first. Do you have the plan to eliminate her?" Yanarym smiled widely as she climbed to the window frame and sat comfortably.

"Of course, I have. I didn't just sit in this window every day to daydream, Guide-sama. By the way, my room chamber is really in a good spot. The fresh air and the view. It feels so VIP."

Guide-sama: "You are the first Princess after all—…"

"Why did you stop talking?"

Guide-sama: "Yanarym, Queen Eriela slapped Princess Jasmine. She found out you died."

"There it is…—Jasmine's weakness!" Yanarym clasped her hand, "She'll become formidable once that weakness of hers is taken care of."

Guide-sama: "Her weakness is reporting to Queen Eriela?"

Yanarym shrugged her shoulders, "Eriela is her weakness."

Guide-sama: "Are you saying she should get rid of her mother?"

"Haha," Yanarym laughed and bit her lips inwardly as she shook her head.
