CHAPTER 020: Disparity Was Absurd

Yanarym was glad she analyzed them before she proceeded in doing some actions to fight with them. Because if she did not, she may have failed this world by not knowing whom she was supposed to watch out for.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Princess Jasmine was similar to her mother. Much smarter, patient, and ambitious.

The greed and envy that was weighing on her shoulders was her drive. Notwithstanding her intellectual and apathetic visage, she was very emotional and unforgiving.

She may be the only one who could see how much of a difference the Original changed. She was the only reason why Yanarym had to go through all of this.

Yanarym could see that Princess Liezel was confused about how she was able to become this spirited. But had no idea that the temperament of the first Princess had been replaced.

While Queen Eriela was in distress because she could not accept that the daughter of Eulasha was a carbon copy of that dead queen. Not because she knew that the first Princess was modified by Yanarym. In fact, the current queen had no clue what Original's characteristic was because she had never been in this palace for the past ten years.

Yanarym had the foreboding that it would be just Princess Jasmine who would have the notion that the change was too radical.

The second Princess was a quick-witted woman who could easily comprehend the situation and bring forth a solution in the fastest and most efficient way. Her mother expected her to be that way, and she built herself like that.

It was not that hard for Princess Jasmine to acquire the knowledge and experience she needed regarding being the perfect princess the queen required her to be. So that she could be able to offer great assistance to Princess Liezel and achieve the highest status of being a queen of the next generation.

Because the second Princess was born smart, she had an inexplicable hunger for knowledge. She liked learning and reading. It was her natural talent to comprehend and quickly analyze the problem and give it a solution.

A perfect aid— was what her mother thought of her.

Princess Jasmine was fine whatever her purpose might become. She did not need power, nor liked to be in the struggle of the royal family. She was not driven by the appreciation of others, but by her mother's validation. She did not desire anything materialistic; she was happy just whenever she could discover unfamiliar things and wonders.

Princess Jasmine's happiness was limited because…

In this life, and with her status as a princess there was a limit for her to way learn how actual living was. Her resources in books and materials were infinite, she could wave her hand, say a word, and request books or an image. Once she asked for those, they could be immediately granted and given to her.

Although that was her life, she was well aware many things that would happen in reality could not be captured by the books. She believed that there were many things in this world that she could not have known existed. And she was convinced that she would never be able to get acquainted with those mysteries at all.

She figured out she was different from those who were around her since she was a child. She was far from her sister who was not using her brain. People say she was a very bright kid, but in reality, it was really hard to be the smart one. Considering she was surrounded by people whom she specified as fools.

She had this uncomfortable feeling whenever she would witness someone in front of her do stupid things when they could do it more efficiently and smartly. However, she could not voice her thoughts; it was forbidden for her to speak her mind. Queen Eriela told her that she could be clever in the shadows; she did not need to show off—since her purpose was only to give the third Princess a hand.

The third Princess was the most brainless person Princess Jasmine met. It pains her to witness the stupidity, it was not easy.

That might also be the reason why the second Princess was jealous of her younger sister. Because despite being a tactician and adaptable. Their mother preferred the dumb and egocentric daughter instead.

Princess Jasmine may look down on her sister's brainlessness, she was nevertheless admiring its preferable appearance for many. Blonde hair, charming blue eyes, childish smile, and naive demeanor. She once thought the third Princess was the most perfect girl that ever existed because that was what Queen Eriela had claimed.

At the age of ten, Princess Jasmine met the first Princess of Menotalis.

If her younger sister was already perfect…

The second Princess was not certain how she should describe the first Princess's existence. Not only in appearance but also the level of intelligence was bewildering.

How could a person be so stunning and so intelligent?

Other than her mother, Princess Jasmine began to admire another person in her life.

The fact that the first Princess was even born in this realm was almost a cheat. Princess Yanarym was significantly more magnificent and much lovely than the third Princess. It seemed like Princess Liezel could represent a candle, and the first Princess was a Sun.

The disparity was too... absurd.

Princess Jasmine's first task was to deliver the meals to the first Princess. They do not talk because the first Princess never spoke to her, but they got along well.

During that time, she was unaware she was feeding Princess Yanarym a lethal meal. She became aware of it when the first Princess suddenly collapsed when they were spending time together, reading a book in the chamber room.

That was when Princess Jasmine found out she was poisoning the first Princess. Her mother wouldn't allow her to call a royal physician to save the only friend she considered.
