CHAPTER 027: Hungry Yanarym Needed to Eat

"Maybe… just maybe, that is the reason why I'm here," Yanarym said as she continued to examine Original's appearance in the mirror.

"It made sense with the two tasks she left me. Became the King of Seerian and re-establish the constitution."

After staring and admiring Yanarym's new identity in the mirror, she sauntered to the huge arched glass window that was in her room. It was tall and wide enough that even if she stood up on the frame and spread her limbs there would still be a wide space remaining. It was more like a giant glass door than a window.

Yanarym unlocked it and pushed open the handle set. She carefully climbed on the sill and took a seat as she hung her feet on the outside.

The fresh breeze of the woods, ranches creaking, feet stomping over debris, squirrels chatting, wind whistling around tree trunks or rustling the leaves, birds chirping, insects humming. They welcomed her.

The weather was fine, the sun was shining brightly, and it was scorching. Despite that, the fragrance of the woodland wafted. It had a smell that resembles wet moss, rain, wet tree trunks, flowers, and grass dirt.

This particular spot would be amazing when the night fell, and she could imagine the stars would cover the night sky.

It must be breathtaking.

She noticed that there was a fountain, after admiring the beautiful forest. This particular view was a garden before. It was still a garden but just like her palace, it was forsaken.

The grass from the distance was tall, it must be to a person's height. Dry leaves were scattered throughout the area. The vines were growing to the walls of the castle.

The firsr Princess strictly forbade people in her vicinity. No one was taking care of the garden, and because it was connected to the forest. The garden was growing too much and was appearing as a forest itself.

"It's like a free aircon from nature," Yanarym said.

Assuming from the height of the location of her window, she could say that her chamber room was on the third floor of this castle.

Growl~

"...I'm hungry."

After conversing with Guide-sama on what she should prioritize. Since the Original wanted the constitution to reconstruct, Yanarym had to focus on studying the current constitution itself.

The Original could ask to become a lawyer or a doctor but no, she wished to renovate the entire constitution and make this a continent of her empire. Of course, Yanarym was thrilled to accomplish that kind of feat… but because she was so hungry just imagining conquering the world now made her depleted. She just realized it was such a big job…

She held her stomach which was growling for a while. She looked around the room and saw a golden tray with a luxurious-looking empty bowl and plate on top of it. It seemed to be a meal from yesterday or something.

"What time is it? When did the Original last eat? I could not recall it in her memory."

Guide-sama: "The time is eleven o'clock in the morning. The Original had her meal last night delivered by Princess Jasmine. She was not hungry when you inhabited her. But knowing you, you are always hungry even though you're not hungry."

"What do you mean not hungry? Her last meal was last night! If it's eleven already then where is my breakfast? It's lunchtime. No! Wait. Did they feed her just one time every day?! What the hell?" Yanarym was aggrieved as soon as she remembered based on Original's memory that Jasmine and Liezel would just visit her every afternoon or night to light incense and leave a single meal for an entire day!

Guide-sama: "It's because the Original did not eat that much anyway."

"The nerve! They're starving me! Guide-sama, where are my clothes?!"

Guide-sama: "Why?"

"What do you mean, why? I have to get dressed to go outside! I need to eat to be alive, gosh! I can't believe this. The last time I was starved like this was when I was in the third world!"

Guide-sama: "You can't go outside the palace, you're a princess."

"A forgotten princess! I'm abandoned." Yanarym swerved her body to her room and jumped down on the window. She almost fell on her knees when she landed on the carpet, her joints and muscles were too weak. Though she was too focused on finding clothes to leave rather than feeling her weak body.

"I have the status but no servants or meals. What kind of life is this?"

Guide-sama: "If you are this mad, I think you're really hungry."

"I. Am. Hungry." She marched towards a door she saw and found that it was a bunch of books.

"And I just can't announce myself in the kitchen's palace too. Declaring my appearance to the public needed to prepare tactically. My brain is not functioning right now. I have to eat to make a good strategy."

Guide-sama: "Calm down. There are things you could use to disguise yourself. Go to your walk-in closet on the third door, there's a cloak on one of the shelves."

"My mouth is craving something sweet, savory, sour, and salty. Meaty! Juicy! Roasted chicken or some sushi. I want to eat lasagna or takoyaki. Shawarma! Ice cream too. I have to have my meal now. I WANT TO EAT SOMETHING!"

Guide-sama: "I know, calm down. Do you have a plan on how to get out of here?"

Yanarym held the lever handles, and she pulled it open, and the dustier part of the room greeted her. While she was sneezing, she went to the shelves and saw various small dresses for a little girl. That belonged to the younger version of the Original. Proof of how much time she was neglected from the outside.

She found a wooden container, which was similar to the appearance of a treasure box. It was under the fourth shelf. She had to cover her nose with her sleeves before she opened the lid and saw a variety of fabrics in there.

"This is not a cloak. It's just a fabric."

Guide-sama: "You can use it as a cloak for now."

Yanarym took the black fabric and pulled it out of the box. She dragged it to the window and shook the dust and insects off.
