Perseus POV

My eyes widened in horror, and my fists involuntarily clenched. The rest of the audience seemed oblivious, their expressions ranging from curiosity to cautious optimism, but I saw something that no one else did.

Inside that gleaming, colossal machine, concealed something beneath its metallic façade and it was a human body. And the human body...the name of the project...the light...it's Vince's body. These fucking bastards!

My knuckles turned white from clenching my fists so hard. All I wanted to do at that moment was to start tearing that place apart. I mean, seriously, who uses a living person as a battery? It was beyond messed up, and I was itching to expose this whole twisted operation.

A part of me says that for the time being, I should keep up appearances while I plotted how to reveal the truth and make those responsible pay.

This was no time for subtlety or careful planning. These people, these architects of cruelty, needed to be exposed, and they needed to pay for what they'd done. Many lives hung in the balance, and I couldn't stand by while they suffered. This corporation will be brought down.

I then texted everyone at home, the signal for them to retreat to our other more secured hideout and abandon the house as it will be an all-out war from here on out. I wrote:

"Enough is enough. I can't let this continue. It's time to bring chaos to their unveiling."

As the surge of anger and determination reached its boiling point, I knew there was no turning back. The conference hall became my battleground, and with a subtle gesture of my hand, I unleashed my magic. Chaos erupted.

As chaos unfurled within the conference hall, panic rippled through the crowd like wildfire. People screamed and stumbled over each other in their haste to escape the escalating destruction. I then used earth magic which caused an ominous rumbling shook the very foundation of the building, and those inside felt it like an earthquake.

Outside the hall, security personnel rushed to contain the mayhem, but their efforts were futile as the building continued to fracture. Glass shattered, steel groaned, and the world seemed to spin in disarray. The once-imposing structure was now a scene of pandemonium, and all who were present felt the overwhelming urge to escape.

No amount of safety procedures could contain this chaos, and unlike everyone else, I approached the stage. With the magic gun out, I shot the executive who was ordering people to help bring the machine to safety rather than help people.

I shot several more of those on stage and used my powers of the 2 roses to swirl around in the air as I waited for all their security to gather in one spot and take them all out in one go.

I then concentrate some of the roses' powers on the machine which caused the polished surfaces to crack and splinter into different pieces, the conference stage crumbled, and sparks of energy danced through the air as I tore apart the machinery.

Security personnel rushed towards me, their voices filled with panic as their mutant-stopping bullets or whatever had no effect, but I was beyond caring. I wouldn't let them stop me.

As an act of mercy, I used dark magic to completely erase Vince's former body from existence.

In the chaos, I could see some brave cameramen point their lenses at me, so with one snap of my fingers, I dropped my disguise, revealing my true identity. The room fell into stunned silence as their mutant security personnel closed in with their weapons.

These guys definitely recognized my face...even if they don't know who exactly I am, it won't take that long to find out as my death was made public and was supposed on the news for quite a long time.

I was also a controversial topic between those who supported mutants and those who were against it. Some were saddened as my life was just full of...well bad circumstances, and some wished that I could be studied further to ensure everyone of the dangers of mutants.

"I told you I'm back," I declared.

3rd Person POV

In the aftermath of the chaotic and destructive event at the pharmaceutical giant's conference, a grim discovery sent shockwaves throughout the world. All the security personnel who had attempted to contain the chaos were found dead, their lifeless bodies were now buried under the now-devastated conference hall.

Whispers of recognition rippled through the world and it wasn't long till the authorities also recognized him. It became clear that the individual responsible for this mayhem was none other than Project: Loki. He was someone who had once been a victim of the pharmaceutical giant's inhumane practices.

He was classified as an apocalypse class, a man capable of unleashing unprecedented destruction upon the world. His powers, once dormant and contained within the corporation's facilities, had awakened with a fury that shook the very foundations of reality itself. Governments around the globe had convened emergency meetings, struggling to comprehend the imminent threat he posed.

His quest for revenge was now undeniable, and it left the world on edge. Governments and organizations worldwide scrambled to assess the threat he posed and to locate his whereabouts, all while the international media churned out stories of his chilling transformation from victim to avenger.

In a dimly lit room, the news broadcast was illuminating Cain's face with flickering images of chaos and destruction. His lips moved soundlessly as he muttered to himself.

"Just what have I unleashed?"

The scenes of chaos and destruction wrought by the vengeful mage filled him with deep anger. He was furious at Loki for unleashing this havoc upon his corporation and its reputation.

But deep down he couldn't deny that a part of him was secretly glad to finally have a name and face to attach to the relentless pursuit of revenge. For so long, the threat had been faceless. Like a shadow looming in the background, and now he knew who had been hunting him.
