Chapter 508: Deal (2)

|I just want to say something here, some of the things I thought up and wrote for my new book...well, it's fucking too similar to "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" lol, a series that I just watched today. With the tattoo on the face and a certain antagonistic trait, the author of the manga did it way better than my draft though, so I'd recommend the series over mine.|

3rd Person POV

As the village prepared for its last all-out attack, the tension in the air thickened. The warriors, armed and mounted atop dangerous beasts, formed a formidable force ready to charge into battle. After a while, the village and its defenders caught sight of the teleported enemy forces.

"ATTACK!!" The collective voices of the warriors thundered a unified declaration that marked the beginning of a brutal clash.

The charge commenced, an explosive collision of bodies, beasts, and weapons, as the battlefield became a maelstrom of war and destruction. The clash erupted like a storm, warriors on dangerous beasts charging headlong into the fray. The air filled with the clang of metal meeting metal, and the roars of monstrous creatures echoed through the battlefield.

Amidst the chaos of battle, the villagers began to overwhelm the demons and humans alike. These half-breeds, possessing the untainted blood of both pure humans and pure demons, displayed a prowess that surpassed the diluted lineages of their adversaries.

|I'm proud of the 'prowess that surpassed the diluted lineages of their adversaries.'|

The author has once again shown that he is no better than every one of his narcissistic protagonists.

Their movements were precise, a blend of human finesse and demonic ferocity, catching their opponents off guard. The villagers fought with an intensity that defied the odds, their eyes ablaze with a determination that transcended the ordinary.

As the battle unfolded, the superior strength of the half-breeds became increasingly evident. The very essence of their mixed lineage granted them abilities beyond the reach of the purebloods and other halfbreeds.

The ground beneath their feet seemed to respond to their presence, empowering their strikes with an unearthly force. Their adversaries, whether human or demon, found themselves struggling against a formidable force that defied expectation once again.

As they unleashed their spells, the very air crackled with an intensity that surpassed any mundane regular incantations that their adversaries could muster. Bolts of magical lightning tore across the sky as each lightning strike was a cataclysmic event, disintegrating enemy soldiers and leaving burnt corpses.

The ground quivered beneath their collective will as they summoned earthquakes that rippled through the battlefield. Tectonic forces, unleashed with a gesture, sent shockwaves through the enemy ranks, causing chaos and disarray among the demons and humans.

With a focused gaze, they thrust their hands into the earth, causing massive spikes to erupt like jagged teeth from the ground. The spikes, imbued with the villagers' command, became formidable barriers that impaled any unfortunate foe caught in their path, most of them didn't even counter because they didn't have the time to since their eyes were too lifeless to be able to see any outcome.

But the villagers were not done. With a collective effort, they shaped the very earth into colossal serpentine forms, dragons of living soil and stone, these animated behemoths, slithered and soared across the battlefield once their wings were formed.

Their massive bodies loomed over the enemies, striking with devastating force. The earth dragons tore through the opposing forces with an unstoppable momentum. But that didn't last long due to the dragons being taken down by God's powerful angels.

With a collective focus, they invoked the power of the water element, summoning a powerful storm of rain. But this was no ordinary rain, it turned into sharp crystals, sharp as daggers, that shined with a deadly gleam.

The crystalline rain cascaded from the heavens and sliced through the air.

The angels, accustomed to reigning supreme in the skies, found themselves caught in a tempest of deadly sharp crystals. The villagers' control over water and air allowed them to manipulate the trajectory of the deadly rain, creating a deadly ballet that filled the heavens with a dazzling display of water-turned-weaponry.

The celestial beings, now faced with an elemental force they couldn't easily evade, struggled against the onslaught from above as the ice crystals pierced and penetrated through their bodies.

The regular angels, unprepared for such a formidable assault, faltered in the face of the villagers' fearless onslaught. The once pristine wings that graced the celestial beings now became vulnerable to the relentless barrage, and the radiant glow of their celestial forms dimmed in the face of impending annihilation.

Within moments, the entire swarm of regular angels, once a formidable force in the skies, was decimated. The crystalline rain transformed the celestial battlefield into a spectacle of devastation, as the once-proud angels fell from the heavens like falling stars and killing the humans and demons below as well.

"Listen up, you sorry excuses for warriors! You wanna live? Then fight like you've got a damn reason! Do good, or you'll be meeting the Reaper real soon!" Perseus shouted in the middle of the ambush, "And if, by some miracle, you end up biting the dust, I better see you crawling back from the pits of hell! It's a goddamn war, so get your heads out of your asses and start swinging as your miserable lives depend on it!"

"Oh, spare me the heroics, you loudmouth lunatic! Why's it always hell and not heaven?!" Someone shouted back, "Are we condemned to suffer while you play warlord? And shouting orders from the back like some kind of commander? Why don't you put your money where your big mouth is and join in the damn fray yourself, you goddess-having man slut?"

"Hell's got more character, and I shout cuz someone's gotta light a damn fire under your sorry asses! And guess what? I'm fighting too, you stupid loudmouth! So, you can either keep flapping your jaws or follow my lead and make a difference!"
