Killing The Devil

It took some time for Thea to come back with her exhausted body. She was still thinking about that invisible man. Who was he..? Friend or a foe and what did he want in exchange?

She was sure that it was not a selfless help when he confirmed twice what she could offer him. The first thing she did was to change her clothes and then go to the bathroom and burn her dress so that no one would notice it was her.

So far no one had seen her face so she was afraid of being caught. Once she had gotten rid of every sign, she walked out of her room leisurely to see the condition of the palace.

As she had expected, the whole place was in chaos. The knights had been collected in the training ground where her father was talking to all of them with a grim face while her step mother was sitting with a bunch of women in the parlor room.

Jane and Jenny were crying in front of the young girl like a perfect victim too while the maids were too silent.

They were even afraid to breathe in case they would be framed for all the crime and get all the punishment.

"Who would have thought a devil would be behind all this! I thought that they did not attack the witches after the last treaty." Thea raisd a brow. These people have a treaty with devils and demons!

So it was not just a curse thrown upon her but they think that she had come from the underground. How absurd!

"Yes, it must be some revenge. Everyone knows that the duke had participated in the war with the demons and even killed many. You should not worry Jenny, everyone knows that devils can make false illusions!" Is there a way to think like true illusions! Thea shook her head at their absurdness and foolishness as she walked from there when a few of the girls noticed her.

They were true nobles and were full of arrogance. They knew what position Thea had in the palace and have mocked her in the past many times.

"Ha! Just look at that. Using the condition as an excuse even cowards dared to walk freely forgetting that they were pressed beings!" a girl with light green hair and brown eyes commenting while smoking at The who ignored her and looked around.

She wanted to know what their father was talking about and all her hard work was lost because of this so-called demon thing when the woman felt insulted.

"Did you see that! How dare she!" she gritted her teeth and stood up but Jane remembered the threat of her father and immediately stopped her friend.

"Forget about her, Lily we have other matters to see to.'' She held her hand but Lily was not at all convinced.

"It will only take a few seconds. I will be back." Jane shook her head and could only see Lily leaving behind Thea who had already reached the training ground and was trying to understand more about the matter.

"If it is really a demon then we all had to be prepared. We have to avenge the death of our brothers. We will attack that demon and kill him in front of everyone so that everyone would know that even the devil did not have the power to stand against our family. Are you with me!" his father shouted in a loud voice when all the knights took their swords out and raised it high in the air with a loud howl when she bit her lips.

"Then we will train till night and then tomorrow morning, we will leave for the search of the demon. Everyone will be given a spell locator. Snap it when you find the demon and everyone would come for your support.

We will kill that demon and then use her body to warn the wh0le world. Are you with me?" Once again her father shouted and all the knights followed her when her heart sank.

If only that benefactor had not killed everyone. Now she did not have any way to get rid of these false claims. But she was sure no one would relate her with that powerful demon.

All she had to make sure is.. There would be no proof left.

"Tsk! So you are here to stare at young men among the chaos! Do you have any shame as the elder daughter of the general?" the cold and voice full of disdain fell in her ears again making her frown.

She turned to look at the strange green hair girl who was provoking her for no reason.

She tried to remember but there was no image of hers in her memory.

"Do I know you?" she asked with a frown when Lily frowned. She felt insulted again as if a cold bucket of water was dropped on her by this simple question.

"Why would you remember girls when all you do is stare at other men when you are already engaged. I know that you didn't have any respect but at least you should think about your family." This time she spoke in a bit louder voice to get the attention of the nearby knights and left a good impression on everyone when They frowned.

"What are you talking about? Why would I look at other men? I am here because I was worried about my father and i did not notice anyone but him.

But how do you know that there are so many handsome men?"

".........."
