A Devil?

The spectators that were following the knights were shocked to see the scene.

The ground shook so hard and it cracked from the exact position where the knights were standing and they fell inside it and went to the depths of hell alive.

Now even their bodies could not be retrieved for their funeral.

But what shocked them, it was impossible to do such a strong earth magic. As if the whole earth was dancing on the fingertip of the person but they could not even see anyone present there.

'`Could it be that woman in the veil who had killed all the knights?' asked one and many nodded since they did not find any other answer of the present condition.

"Yes, she was the devil reincarnate. Did you not see how she performed forbidden magic without being affected at all? It must be her plan to lure the knights here so that she could kill all of them." confirmed another and soon everyone started talking about her again.

She was announced as the criminal, demon and thirsty for blood who eats raw flesh to increase her power. By the time Thea reached her palace, she was announced as the devil wanted by the whole empire.

The news soon reached the whole empire and even the royal family. Cyfrin, who had just returned home, heard about it from his assistant.

"Are you sure it was a woman who killed all of the knights of the duke house?" his eyes were grim as he heard that when the knight nodded his head again and again.

"There were many witnesses to the scene. I heard that she performed forbidden magic on the information tablet and then ran away and when the knights tried to follow her, she performed a dark spell and the whole earth cracked, consuming the life of the knights." he shuddered at the thought when Cyfrin frowned.

"My lord.. What shocked me was.. I have never heard about such a strong spell and I failed to think about any woman with the power of earth that could be so strong in the whole empire. Could it be true.." Cyfrin did not wait for him to finish as he took hasty steps towards the room of his father.

If the matter was so urgent, his father must be discussing it too. Thea belong to the house of duke too. He had felt a strange magic coming from her when he had taken out the poison from her body but her affinity was not with earth but fire.

She was a fire fairy!

"Father!" He entered with a smile on his face that showed his calm nature and kind heart.

The nobles who were discussing the matter stood up and bowed their heads.

Cyfrin, the elder son of his majesty, the strongest warlock of the empire. He did not accept the position of the crown prince who would take the position of an emperor one day but took the position of archduke and control his own fief now that was no less than a separate kingdom.

William stood up when he saw his son coming too and went forward to hug him.

"You finally got the time to come back! Hmm?" he complained with a soft face but then his face turned grim again. "Are you here because of the news too?" the whole empire was talking about it. There was no way that his son did not know about it.

"No! I was here to meet you, father." he said softly when his father was shocked, "but i heard about it when i reached the palace and it worries me. I am afraid that it might create chaos!" William sighed as it had already created enough chaos.

"We have decided to make an announcement about that woman. 1billion gold coins would be given to the person who could capture her and subdue her.

And everyone would be warned to walk in groups and stay away from strange women. I am not even sure if she was a woman or she could change genders." he sighed when Cyfrin nodded his head.

He rubbed his chin for a few seconds and then announced.

"I will personally go and talk to the family of the duke. Maybe they have enmity with someone. The news about their elder daughter few days ago, and now their second daughter was in the news today." he started but his father frowned as if he did not like the idea of his son serving a mere duke but Cyfrin only smile and continued,

"The woman was trying to malign the second daughter by spreading the news and when she failed.. She showed her anger by punishing the knights of the house of duke. I am sure she had some relation with the family of the duke. We must get deep into the matter and solve it before another incident happens."

The nobles nodded their heads immediately. They did not care how the matter would be solved but they wanted the woman to be imprisoned and killed before their family would be endangered.

Such a strong witch is against the empire.. What if the devil really attacked them? William stared at them with dark eyes hiding it under a bright smile as he patted the shoulders of his son

Under the pressure of so many nobles, he could not refuse the matter anymore, so only accepting it was the choice.

"I knew that my son would have a better suggestion. Go and ask, i am sure you will solve the matter by yourself."
