Oh Ji-Soo is pissed

"President Kim, remember you sent me to the bidding event as Dream Axis's representative, and that means I had the right to make the best decision for her." Oh Ji-Soo reminded without a smile on her face.

She would never accept being insulted for doing what was best for the company.

Yes, she was sorry for not jeopardizing the company's financial state by getting the bid for J-Group's project by all means since he wanted it so badly.

All she did was for the best interest of Dream Axis and nothing more, but Kim Ji-hun was not interested.

He seemed more furious than ever.

"Are you blaming me for delegating such an important task to you?"

Oh Ji-Soo heaved a tired sigh. Looking at the man pointing accusing fingers at her, she couldn't deal.

"Rather than making any profit from this project, we would have made losses while walking on a tight budget."

Gesturing with her hand, she continued, "This project would have been like us walking on eggshells until the end of it."

Ji-Soo tried to explain that profit was still important to a big company like theirs and that the winning company, RX, would suffer a lot on that project while working with a tight budget, but he tells her off.

"Are you calling me short-sighted?" Putting his hands on his waist, he began to slander her.

"How did you get through high school with that reputation of being the best student in your set?

Seeing how you have learnt to talk back to me, I can finally see why a mark separated you from making first class. It's because you didn't deserve it!

What is the difference between you and all those interns that make so many mistakes in their first year?"

"President Kim, are you maligning me in my presence?" Oh Ji-Soo couldn't believe her ears and got ready to have a go at him.

She had enough of him. She won't stand there and listen to him question her achievements while making fun of her.

Was this all about her doing what was best for Dream regardless of his instruction?

Oh Ji-Soo was very angry and couldn't help showing it on her face, but who knew Kim Ji-hun was not yet done with her…

"I can't stoop to your level. Oh Ji-Soo, you really should defend your final year project in college again. I don't know who your supervisor was, but he had proven that there are seeds like you that can escape grooming."

Scoffing, he walked past her and headed for the door not caring about her emotions after repeatedly stabbing her heart over and over again.

As soon as he shut the door with a 'bang' her fingers balled into fists as her piercing gaze followed his figure through the binders until he disappeared from her sight.

How much she so badly wanted to put a hole through his head.

That would have been a perfect mark that would last on his face for all the days of his life and he would never forget her forever and ever.

Unfortunately, she wouldn't let him decide her fate on the other hand for she knew her life would be over the moment she does that.

Then of what use would it be for her life to end like that after being tortured all-round by him?

No, she had to live freely now.

Just as Oh Ji-Soo stood at the same spot thinking of everything, she could do to exert revenge on Kim Ji-hun, Eun-bi knocked on the door and peeped.

"Director Oh, are you okay?" She asked immediately with a hint of worry as she had heard Kim Ji-hun roaring all the way from her little office.

Taking her gaze off her, Oh Ji-Soo stopped herself from rolling her eyes at the innocent her for she was not the subject of her anger.

"Why are you here?" She asked she went to sit behind her desk and turned her laptop on.

'Seems like Ms. Oh is really pissed.'

Saying a silent prayer, Eun-bi quickly delivered a message from Kim Ji-hin's office.

"President's Kim secretary announced that there is an emergency meeting which kicked off a minute ago, shortly before you arrived."

"Must I be there?" Oh Ji-Soo asked without lifting her head as her fingers flew on the keyboard like a woodpecker.

Hearing her cold tone that depicted her current emotions, Eun-bi quickly replied in hopes that she could disappear from her presence as fast as possible.

"The meeting is for the heads of departments and the managers."

To that, Ji-Soo did not say a word, prompting her assistant to leave her alone in her world.

Finishing from the Senior Manager's office, Kim Ji-hun went straight to the second conference room that was meant for gathering with Dream's departmental heads to anchor the meeting he had called for.

As soon as he stepped into the room, the men and women sitting around the rectangular-shaped table all rose to their feet.

"Sit!" He commanded as he stopped behind the seat set up for him.

Holding the headrest area, his gaze swept past the people in the room.

"As a good number of you may not have heard, Dream Axis lost the J-Group bid to RX."

Immediately, hushed voices started to reach his ears and that simply caused him to be irritated.

Glaring at them, Kim Ji-hun made them seal their lips. "Shut it!" He didn't care about those staff older than him while giving that order.

In Dream Axis, he called the shots.

Soon, the meeting room returned to absolute tranquillity.

"This project was handed over to the Senior Manager whose only job was to secure a deal but guess what?"

Sweeping his gaze past every one of them, he revealed, "She went there and did as she liked without caring about my instruction."

At this juncture, so many thoughts were going through the mind of the heads of departmental heads sitting there, including the vice president of Dream Axis.

What was the story behind Oh Ji-Soo losing the bid to a rival company because she was not one to come home empty-handed?

This was their question but Kim Ji-hun was not going to explain it to them as everything about him at the moment was consumed with fury.

"Director Oh has shown that she is competent!"

Just as those words left Kim Ji-hun's lips, the tone of a familiar female voice filled with rage retorted from outside the meeting room.

"Kim Ji-hun, how am I incompetent?"

Instantly, everybody shifted to the edge of their seats as they directed their shocked-filled gazes toward the entrance, waiting for the person daring enough to be this bold to show up.
