Defend Her Honour

Classes for the rest of the day were a mess and while Zoe had to concentrate for the sake of her students, her homeroom class was worst. Even while she turned to write down important points on the board, she could feel the eyes of the students on her. Not that they didn't always stare at her as a teacher, but it was intense this time. At this rate, they might as well bore a hole in her head.

With a sigh, Zoe put down her marker. This was not going to work. Until she talked to them, this lesson was not going to work. She bet none of them had been concentrating on her lessons so far. The children, no, hormonal teachers, had questions for her.

"So…." She started, "Since none of you are in the mood to study today, why don't you guys talk?"

There was no response from them.

She told them, "The floor is open now, you won't get another opportunity like this one. And the offer goes in five…. Four…."
