He Was Changing

Thankfully, it was nothing serious but Zoe had been glaring at Gabriel non-stop ever since they arrived for the check-up. She could not forget the embarrassment on her face as he carried her in his arms and brought her to a hospital bed where a nurse checked up on them. 

 Zoe would have to wait for the bruise on her face to fade away and the nurse recommended a cold compress. The nurse was a kind one and gave her an ice pack which she placed on the bruise for about ten to fifteen minutes.

"You should repeat," A voice murmured behind her, referring to the ice pack that she took down from her face after the recommended time was over. 

Her glare increased in intensity and yet she said to him, "According to instruction, I am to repeat this several times -"
