CHAPTER 7 ARE YOU GAY!

Chapter 7

*_OLIVER'S P.O.V._*

Ever since that day she made me promise not to tell anyone, she fell hard. Her feelings for him made unable to hurt him. Sometimes I even feel what happened was my fault; I shouldn't have let her go. I let her suffer. I don't know what to about my feelings for her—I just go crazy thinking about her.

"Young Master," I heard our head maid, Miss Evelyn, call out to me. She had been taking care of me since I was little, so I respected her a lot.

"Would you stop calling me that!" I snapped.

"No, your mother is around, and I don't want her to give me a lecture," she explained.

"Okay." I answered then I realized something.

"Wait! Did you say mother is around?" I asked surprised, and she bobbed her head as a reply.

"Oh No!" I got up to go and greet her before she comes up by herself and starts throwing a tantrum. But not before saying, "I'll be back malady," and she laughed.

I rushed down the stairs and went to the living room only to see my mom standing on the weight scale. She had the habit of checking her weight anytime she got back from a trip so I waited till she finished. As soon as I saw she was done, I quickly gave her a big hug.

"Holly, I thought you had forgotten me," she accused me.

"Oh my sweet sugary mummy, how will I ever forget you," I replied to her.

"Mmmm, you are now good at pacifying me, and am sure you are always surrounded by the girls in your school," she sounded so sure of what she said. "You arrived earlier than expected. Did something happen?" I asked, trying to divert her attention to another topic.

"Very clever son, I know you don't like topics like that, but you need to open up to girls." She spoke concerned.

"I..." I wanted to explain to her, but she shut me up. "Son, are you gay? Tell me, I'll understand, I won't judge you."

"Eeew mom! I'm not gay."

"Then why don't you have a girlfriend yet? How come you don't react to my friend's daughter? She is beautiful, sweet, respectful, charming, and she even likes you."

"Veronica?"

"YES! Do you like her too?"

"No, never. I can never like her."

"Why? See! I am so sure now. You are gay!"

"I am not, mom."

"Hm! Then why don't you like a girl as hot as Veronica."

"Cause she's a wench, mom, I can't like such a girl."

"Son, did I just hear you use that language?"

"I am sorry mom, I can't help it."

"Better. Why did you call her that? She is such a nice girl."

"She is not, she is a bully trying to act all 'goody two shoes'. I have to go to school now."

"I am not done!"

"Mom, you just got back, and all you are thinking of is matching me with your friend's daughter. I am going to school, I can't afford to be late."

After saying that I practically left my mom hanging, not waiting for her to say anything...
