Uncle Wen and Ning.

Since Feng Lin had found a small piece of evidence that the girl was who she said she was, he set out right away to find out more about her family. Which led him to a civilization that had been abandoned for quite some time, and the clue Feng Lin had followed ended abruptly.

Homes in this neighborhood were demolished over the course of three months so that space could be made for fully operational hotels and motels.

It appeared to be the work of an organization, but Feng Lin discovered a small flower seller's shop among such buildings, which were about to collapse in front of him.

"Stop it." Feng Lin arrived just as the latter shop was about to be destroyed, and he found the shopkeeper sitting there with a white expression on his face.

The moment he heard someone stopping the worker, he looked up to find a kid who was in his twenties standing before the construction worker.

"Brat, what the hell are you doing here, and what the hell with your look." Feng Lin was seriously pissed, given the uncle was someone he know from his childhood, but looking at his pained figure, there was no way he would sit quietly about it.

"Where is the order of destruction and legal document of the shop, if you do not have one, then I will have to send your top management to see the confinement of the City Station."

Other employees scowled when they heard Feng Lin speak, but when he pulled out his agent badge at work, one of the workers' top management's expressions changed.

He quickly moved forward while taunting the worker who was moving toward Feng Lin after realizing that they were all in serious trouble right now.

The man spoke to Feng Lin in a serious manner while forcing the worker to get on his knees.

"I'm sorry, sir, but I can't be of much help to you because the staff here is brand new and doesn't know much about your field."

As the man who was slapped by the management worker heard the guy's words, he realized he was about to jump into hell, and silence fell over the entire field.

Immediately, he dropped to his knees and began begging Feng Lin to forgive him for everything he'd said in anger.

"Your behavior has troubled Uncle Wen, not me. To avoid further misunderstanding, I suggest you apologize to him."

Feng Lin's words were crystal clear; they revealed exactly what was on the mind of so-called Uncle Wen and why the boy before him evoked memories of someone from his past.

Feng Lin used her influence to prevent the store's destruction, and the demolishers eventually agreed to return after being offered the chance to reclaim their legal rights.

Otherwise, his authority will always put them in a bind, preventing them from moving forward with their project, while Feng will have enough time to gather evidence against them. There is, after all, always a lengthy paper trail and considerable amount of time involved in the legal process of demolishing the building.

That was the main reason they were using a legal loophole to demolish the shop first without drawing attention from higher-ups and claiming it was an old building that had collapsed naturally. This greatly troubled uncle Wen, as it meant that the flower arrangements and other fixtures inside the shop would soon be destroyed.

"Uncle Wen." When Feng Lin had finished dealing with the group of miscreants, he went to see his uncle, who was still thinking about Feng. Given the youngster's tone, he surmised that he was being called by a boy; however, the person in question had a very diminutive personality.

"Hmm, is it Feng Boy?" The old Wen finally made sense of it after much thought, given that Feng Lin's drastic changes had taken him by surprise.

"Haha, you're right, you're surprised, this is how it is now." Feng Lin grinned and proudly displayed his new fashion sense, while uncle Wen sighed as they realized how true it was that Feng Lin had not changed even after such a long time.

"Are you here to brag about getting a girlfriend or something." Old Wen cracked a joke; based on his memories, he concluded that Feng Lin could not have found a girlfriend even after enrolling in his university.

"Wow! Was it my mother who called you, Old Men Wen, to tell you the news?" After hearing that, Feng Lin was surprised, but Old men Wen was even more so, and he grinned thoughtfully at Feng Lin.

A girlfriend, "Big brother Feng Lin got one, eh?" Ange, the adoptive daughter of Old Wen, was suddenly discovered by Old men Wen and Feng Lin; she was a blond hair girl with a secret crush on Feng Lin and happened to be Mai's friend.

"Big Sister." When Feng Lin met the high school girl who had apparently overheard their conversation, she called him by name. He couldn't help but refer to her by the honorific name she had been given as a child. Despite this, her age is younger than Feng Lin's.

"Feng." The so-called older sibling's glee at hearing her favorite pet name again after a year's absence served as a reminder that the boy before her had not changed, despite his dashing appearance in suit and pants making him appear very mature.

"Yeah, but take a good look at your exhausted countenance; if I'm not mistaken, it's due to overwork once again, right?" Regardless of how mature Wen Ning appeared to be, Feng Lin was well aware that she was nothing more than a child who had been subjected to a number of adversities in order to develop in this manner.

"If you're worried, just start a company and hire me; this is the only way I'll be able to help you and also get out of this messy job of mine." Wen Ning, who has given up on higher education, has done so not because she was unable to obtain a scholarship.

The only problem was that her mother was already dead, and she couldn't do a thing to save her. So, before her mother died, she got jobs and made sure she could rest in peace.

"Despite our best efforts, sister Ning, you still seem uncomfortable when we have conversations. Relax, I expected a slap from you that day so that I could return to my studies, right?" When Feng Lin came along and patted her on the head, Wen Ning smiled a little too broadly.

"Since I previously purchased a car but did not have the opportunity to treat you, let big brother handle this so little Ning can come and have some food with big brother."

Ning smiled, but she wanted to reject Feng Lin's restaurant suggestion when she remembered that he had a girlfriend. Unfortunately, his persistent nature prevented her from doing so. "This is not something you can stop; given your position as a big brother here, a little sister like you has no authority to deny me." After hearing his illogical reasoning, Ning decided to shake off her thoughts and let him do as he pleased, since all she had to do was follow him.

Uncle Wen's nod and smile at Feng, indicating that they could take his daughter away for dinner while he rested his old bones, shows how pleased he was with the idea. "Dad, don't worry about the shop; I arranged for a transportation service to take all the stuff to the other site, and we will be back." Before she left, Ning gave Old Wen the best news he could hear before he could leave for home.

"Ah, it is good to have such a daughter." Old Wen muttered as he looked at Feng and Ning walking away. As he entered his store, he started setting up a few final items before closing up shop.

++++++++++

"So, you had bought a car, Huh." After they had been gone from the store for a minute, they both started walking back toward where Feng Lin had left his car.

Wen Ning had to sit through some uncomfortable silence while Feng Lin considered where he should take her for dinner. But when he heard Ning, talking about his car, he nodded with a smile as he repeat inside his head, 'It is from a system, though.'

"Yes, I got one from a company I'd been volunteering for; they gave me a wide range of tasks, and it's been a lot of fun to work on." He was considering how the system itself was like the ultimate organization for everyone in the world. The system confirmed that he was its only employee on this planet because he was the only one who had ever asked whether or not another anomaly like himself existed here.

The confirmation from the system that he was, in fact, the only heir was a huge weight off of his shoulders. Considering how no one else possesses anything even remotely similar to his golden finger, he decides to play the trump card.
