Proudfoot: Part Three

Proudfoot threw Seronn to the ground. The guns in his hands fell a long away from him. Plato and Zeno immediately went and picked it up. They took the guns in their hands and gave it a quick examination. Meanwhile Archimedes regained his composure as he watched proudfoot carry Seronn up again and throw him to the either side of the walls. He was relentless as the people watched in shock. "A mortal would have died a lifetime ago". Seronn was helpless as he wailed away in pain. And as Sifon tried to get up and launch an attack himself, he was put back to the ground by Archimedes with relative ease.

After a few Smashing's in the dungeon walls, Proudfoot decided it was time to end the beating he was giving. Seronn cried in pain, as his joints were being put back together. Some bones attached itself quickly while the others took some time. Sifon looked at the agony Seronn was going through and he could not really understand what had happened. "Let us bury the three of them" said Zeno. Where? asked Archimedes. Here! replied Zeno. Proudfoot and the Strongmen nodded in agreement. "Durovin and Seronn are done for, they cannot move" said Plato. But,he pointed at Sifon. "What about him"? . Proudfoot approached Sifon, as he approached him you could see that his aura was completely gone, but his eyes still remained green. I will do to him, what I did to the others. Gladly, said Archimedes as he introduced himself to the giant. Archimedes stepped away, and away crawled Sifon to the corner of the Dungeon trying to climb it up. As he prowled through the rubbles with his sharp claws, he was instantly pulled back by a very strong force. He was dragged along the dungeons from one corner to the other. With such a brutal force and speed he was dragged through the rocks, and he saw the body of Sergey every time he was dragged from corner to corner. Sifon started pleading to everyone and especially proudfoot thinking that he too would end up like the Russian. " Fear can break a man and take him to the darkest of places in his mind. The irrational starts to become rational. And that was precisely what was happening to Sifon. He was fully consumed by fear, and at that moment even a immortal can become mortal. And they all saw what was happening, the blood that refused to spill out of Durovin and Seronn, was starting to seep out of Sifon. He was dying!

His bones were crumbling and every joint now bled into the ground. The merciless giant did not stop until there was nothing left of Sifon. Plato wanted to stop Proudfoot and tell him it was enough, but he was advised against it by Zeno. "This is what the gods want" said the wise Marakese. And slowly Sifon was no more and there was nothing left of him!. And then Proudfoot was released back to his original self. He was Proudfoot again and he needed a big rest. He spoke nothing and rested his back against the wall. Nobody spoke ! Most of them had witnessed miracles in their lives, but none had seen anything remotely close to this. What happened before their eyes was an act of god itself. Archimedes was the most powerful being there ever could be, along with Seronn. No one was equal to their strength! But what Proudfoot had just done was surely not possible by even them! So they all just let him be. Let him rest now, said Zeno. We will finish the rest. The rest of them unanimously agreed. So they waited until the giant had enough strength to carry himself above the dungeon and onto the ground!

An hour later

The ground was barren and flat. Like it once was. The Marakese , Plato and Proudfoot all stood on top of the mud and underneath them was Durovin and Seronn , breathing but not able to move. They would surely not be able to get up from this , said Zeno . And the others agreed instantly. Now what do we ? Asked Archimedes as he pointed at the three ships that were free for them to use. Zeno looked at Plato " You could use one to go back to your planet" and offered him a ship. Most of our enemies are done for , added Archimedes and hinted that Plato should travel back to Earth. And what of you ? He asked Archimedes and Zeno. We meet King Arakur and take his blessings , said Archimedes to which Zeno sighed in disguist. Archimedes quickly altered his statement "Well , I take his blessings" he said and turned away from Zeno as he got his approval. Then ? Asked Plato. Then we travel back to our planet , all of us , said Archimedes as he included Proudfoot in his clan. They all looked at proudfoot to see what he had to say . As long the tap runs , he replied . Well , that can be arranged for , said Zeno as everyone burst into laughter! I didn't know you speak Marakese , said Archimedes. Everyone does , replied the humble giant.

So , this is where we say our goodbyes? Said a shaky Archimedes realising that this was the last time that he was to see his dear old friend, Plato. Don't get teary eyed my friend , replied Plato " This certainly will not be the last time we see of each other" We do intend to visit Earth , said Zeno half jokingly. Please do , replied Plato as he shook the hands of everyone. Proudfoots hand he tried to shake the least , as he was really scared that the giant would pull his arms off. The strongman were certainly strong but Plato knew he could have a gentleman's handshake with the lm and so he did. And for Archimedes and Zeno they hugged each other and said their goodbyes. Goodbye son , said Zeno "Next time we see you, There better be a wife and a child" Plato laughed away and dare not look back as he entered a starship.

Let us go ! Said Archimedes to the rest of the troop.
