"Is everything ready Lasso?" Mama Williams asked while looking down a slope to where hundreds of people are getting armed and ready to take over Dead End. "Yes ma'am" the old cowboy reassured her. "Let's get going then." She nodded to him and he shouted. "Let's move out!!" "Yes sir!" A few hundred shouted back and they all began the longish march to Dead End.
"Excuse me sir" Ret went to Tiger a few minutes after he came out of the basement. "Yes Ret?" He replied. "So I've heard things from a few of the guards. Are we going to war today?" He asked and Tiger sighed. "Kind of, people are trying to tear this place down but we got traps and defenses that they don't know about." He reassured. "But if we let the Runners out, how will we guarantee our own safety? Those things are uncontrollable. I don't mean to be rude or anything but i don't think your backup plan is thought out very well-" Ret stated and Tiger sighed. "Listen. We won't even need to let them out. We got enough people to take down whatever "army" they got." He snapped at him but Ret wasn't backing down this time. "Cypher told us there are almost a thousand from what she saw. Let alone she heard them stating that there would be even more coming along. You really think our couple hundred could stop that?" Ret argued back.
This was just angering Tiger now. "Are you doubting me Ret?!" He yelled and Ret looked at him with a dead glare. "Yes. Yes I am." Was all he said then he turned and walked away, expecting a bullet in the back of his head but it never happened. This left Tiger Tony in shock and fury. "Who the hell does he think he is?!" He shouted mainly to himself as he turned and kicked the door open and walked outside. "That bastard doubts that I can set up a decent defense. I throw him in a trench for that one of these days." He mumbled angrily to himself as he climbed onto a watch tower and looked down at the forest on the other side of the fence. The only noise that could be heard was the chirping of birds. That was all the army wanted them to hear.
"They really built up their guard huh." Shiny whispered to Mama Williams and she nodded. Once she saw that Tiger left the watch tower she decided it was time. Mama Williams nudged Bones who then cupped his hands over his mouth and made a screeching call that sounded like a crow. The guards didn't think of it until they had arrows being shot at them. Every arrow hit a target either in the heart or right between the eyes. Only a few made sounds, but none of them were loud enough to signal anyone inside.
The watch towers were not manned because all guards were supposed to be on the ground and ready. Hell's Angels then emerged from the trees and headed to the gates which were covered by large bushes. They all began drawing their swords, axes, bats, any weapon they have. While Mama, Bones, and Shiny were all about to infiltrate the front with their group Pippin and Lasso were heading to the back and hopping the fence. Well more like Lasso hoist Pippin over as carefully as possible so she doesn't break her leg more. They were tasked to get anyone who was kidnapped and get them out of there.
"Careful Pippin." He quietly snapped at her as she dropped over the other side of the fence carefully landing on her good foot and using her spear to support her other leg. After she was over Lasso quickly and silently hopped over then they both walked to the back door of the hotel. Lasso then slowly opened it and peered inside. It was completely empty so they went in and snuck up to the 10th floor of the hotel. Peered around a corner to see 2 guards in front of a heavily locked door. Lasso noticed Pippin start to get 2 tranquilizer darts out of her pockets and tapped her hands meaning to put them away. Then he got out 2 throwing knives and whispered to her. "This is how you really take care of guards" he quickly came out from around the corner and threw the knives then dived and rolled behind the other wall.
All that was heard were 2 cracks then 2 more heavy thuds. When Pippin and Lasso started walking to the door there lied two guards with knives hilt deep into their skulls. "Nice shot" Pippin shrugged then used her spear to move the dead guards out of the way. "Hey Pip lean on the wall and let me have your spear for a moment." Lasso said as he held his hand out to her which she put one hand on the wall and gave him her spear. "Let's hope no one else is up here" he mumbled and the stabbed at the hinges of the door, breaking them off then gave Pippin's spear back. "Could you be any louder?-" Pippin whispered as she watched him back up a bit from the door. "Yes yes I can" he stated then sprinted and rammed his shoulder into the door, knocking it down with a loud thud. He then tuck and rolled and crouched there for a moment. Where he landed he was looking right into the eyes of a terrified girl who looked about 5 years old.
Before the little girl screamed he quickly covered her mouth and pulled her into a hug to keep her quiet. "Sh sh sh- we're here to get everyone out" he whispered. Pippin and Lasso looked at the little girl then looked at everybody else in the room. There was 20 people. 15 kids that looked to be from ages 5-11 and 5 woman who looked badly beat. The saddest part was that they all had chains wrapped around their torso's so they couldn't go anywhere.
"Hey Pip. Im gonna need your spear again-" he said then she handed it to him. "Ok sweetie...I'm gonna need you to stay very still ok?" He told the little girl he was hugging as he slowly let go and she nodded. He stared at her for a moment trying to think of how he'll get the chains off then decided he would use the spear as a wedge so the girl can squirm out of the chains. He gently slid the handle through the chain and the little girl the wiggled out of the chains and ran to Pippin, who was leaning against the doorframe.
"Everyone see how to get out?" Lasso asked and they all nodded. He went to each of captured and helped them free of their chains. "Let's go" he went to turn away and everyone followed him, well except for one. "Owie.. owie..." cried a little boy softly and Lasso quickly turned and pushed passed the little crowd to see a little boy who's leg was badly twisted and swollen. "Oh buddy..." Lasso said softly as he gently wiped tears off the little boys face. "Can I carry you out of here? I know people who can help that leg of yours" he said softly and the little boy nodded. "Right now we just have to get it splinted ok?...you'll be just fine" Lasso then gently picked up the little boy, making sure to not move his leg too much. "Let's head out"
As Pippin and Lasso snuck everybody out the back Jet was leading Cypher outside. "You sure your feeling ok?" He asked and she nodded. Cypher was wearing one of Ret's jackets and her own trench coat because she kept having the shivers. "I'm fine I'm fine..." she yawned and the moment they stepped outside the saw the front gate burst open with a loud clank.
