The last time I saw those pair of blues, I was really happy and excited for both my present and future. 


As he smile at me, Mr. Lind waves when he saw me looking back. As a courtesy, I wave back and try to empty my beer before going toward him. “Hello, Mr. Lind. Long time no see.” 


“I’m so happy to see you! Are you going to be coming with us on the racetrack tomorrow too?” 


I shake my head in negation before smiling and responding. “No, I’m afraid I’m not.” 


“Oh, alright. Maybe next time then.” 


“Are you currently visiting Drayce?” 


“Yeah, he told us a few weeks ago about our granddaughter. So the missus and I hurried over here to see her.” 


“Is Mrs. Lind here too?” I ask, trying to change the topic. 


“Yeah, she just went to the bathroom.” 


“Oh, okay. Well, I’ll leave you guys to it. Enjoy your dinner!”
