Love in Separation

It’s a gloomy day when Jeremy and I decided to meet in a diner. 


It’s still my day off but after seeing Drayce sleeping on the couch, I decided to leave a note and went ahead to meet Jeremy. 


Looking out by the window, the waitress asks me if I wanted some coffee to my dismay. 


“Just water please,” I said as I caught a whiff of the coffee pot she was holding. 


I badly wish I could drink coffee but after finding out I’m pregnant, I abstained from it. 


It started to rain when a glass of water was placed in front of me. 


“Are you ready to order?” She asks. 


“I’m still waiting for someone,” I said politely. 


When I look back out the window, the rain started to pour a bit harder. 


I don’t know what will happen during this conversation, but one thing is for sure. I’m finally closing the door on Drayce indefinitely. 


The bell rings to signal that someone came into the diner. 


I didn’t know who it was until Jeremy sat across from me.
