Chapter 60 - The Eldest

I stood up, not willing to be deliberately defamed by her within the confines of my workplace. “I will not be talking about personal matters within the hours of my work or my place of work. You’ll have to excuse me.”

As I leave, Valerie continues to smear my name loudly in front of a lot of people.

“You whore! Leave my fiance alone!”

The security had to escort her away from the restaurant as she was making a ruckus, disturbing the establishment.

As it is happening, the gossip around me began to grow louder.

I went up to the rooftop where I know no one would go and cried my eyes out.

I should have believed it when my gut has been telling me that I shouldn’t talk to her.

She purposely went to my work to humiliate me.

I didn’t know how long I was crying or what happened afterward. All I know is that as soon as I came to, I’m no longer in the hotel.
